And Yahoo Answers always has these very bad spellers stating how much they hate HIllary and she will not win the election--she is a socialist, etc.. and those people never post any links or proof. My conclusion is Yahoo Answers is a bunch of biased, unfactual, silly arguments that has no merit whatsoever. People should really do their own reseach...

If A friend of my wife came to our house and left periphanelia there and the cops came looking for her at our house. She had left but the police asked to search. When her friend left my wife found the parephanilia and put it away in the drawer. The police found it and charged both my wife and I for it even though I wasnt present. If my wife admits this to the prosecutor will they drop it against me. My worry is that I have priors (non-drug related) and they will think that she is just taking the fall for me. I am really concerned about this because I have changed my life and am doing good and dont want to go to prison.

This is a follow-up of sorts from a previous question I asked.

It seems that this society has placed tremendous faith in the private sector to get things done. Examples include our health care system, and possibly our Social Security. My question is why is there so much faith in the private sector after repeated injustices (ie Enron, S&L scandals, Halliburton, monopolies, price fixing, etc)?

I realize that the government has erred (Katrina, Social security), but it is for the people, by the people. Why shouldn't we place more emphasis on an effective government? We can vote people in and out regularly. We cannot do the same in the private sector.

I want to hear thought and opinions on this. Please keep this respectful and provide serious answers please!!! Thanks!

Let's review the facts.

Republican political campaigns have compared war veteran Max Cleland to Osama bin Laden and Sadaam Hussein, and dragged war veteran John Kerry's name through the mud. These Republicans were both elected.

Republican Senators killed a Democratic bill to give our troops more time at home after serving overseas. Twice. Also bills attempting to bring troops home.

The Republican president sent our troops into the Iraq War on falsified evidence and had no post-war plan. Subsequently our troops are stuck in the middle of a civil war.

Liberal MoveOn made the General Betray Us ad in poor taste. The Senate (mostly Republicans therein) condemn this ad.

Now Republican Rush Limbaugh says that any troops who criticize the war are "phony troops". Republicans do not condemn this statement.

Republicans seem to think that as long as they say they support the troops, it doesn't matter what else they do. Do you think they talk the talk but don't walk the walk?

From accepting rich donations from that poor Chinese criminal, Hsu.

To having Sandy Berger guiding her in her presidential campaign.

" Berger, who 'fessed up to filching classified terror-related documents from the National Archives in 2003, got slapped with a $50,000 fine, probation, and lost his security clearance.

Berger later admitted to investigators that he swiped sensitive documents on several occasions, stashing them in his clothes and taking them home preceding hearings by the Sept. 11 commission."

If this was a republican accepting money from a criminal and tried to donate it and act innocent they would still be told to resign and tried. recall Jack Abramoff? Why is no one demanding for Hillary to resign? She seems to be doing far worse with full knowledge of doing so!

I read and hear ALL THE TIME that Democrats of today represent the evil nanny state eroding America's freedoms and ready to take her in the direction of socialist/communist regimes. Well, putting aside the excess of inflammatory political doscourse this really represents, do any of you KNOW people that lived through these regimes?

I have associates that came of age and were young adults in pre perastroika Russia. It was awful.

Entire region's populations were moved without warning to different locations; discussing or practicing religion was held in a sort of unacceptable social disdain so few dared to do so; entire educational areas of SCIENTIFIC study were thwarted and not even allowed at university; news media reported nothing but feel good stories on its leaders; the vast majority of Russians did not know nuclear weapons existed (!!!); one never spoke of the government as "ears were everywhere"; at times, family members simply disappeared to be never heard from...

I just got into a motorbike accident without a M Class license. I have a card to show that I have completed the course, and if I take the card to the DMV they will give me a motorcycle license. I did not have the card on me at the time of the accident, and now I have to go to court to fight the case. I am wondering if I need a lawyer, and if it will be hard to get this ticket dropped. Technically speaking I have a license, but I didn't have it on me at the time. What should I do? Any suggestions?

It is a Halloween decoration.Apparently it contains lead and the box says it contains cancer causing lead. There is a caution on the box advising people to wash their hands after holding it.Do the manufacturers think kids will routinely wash their hands after holding it?WHY is this still being sold? Is it safer than the toys recalled from China? As an update there was a clarification of information regarding the toy recall from China. It appears Mattell has acknowledged the majority of the toys recalled due to design flaws not lead concerns (a very small amount were recalled due to lead paint concerns.)There was a lot of hype about the lead paint concern but next to nothing on the fact most of the recalls were due to safety concerns over design flaws (small parts posing choking hazzards, etc).Shouldn't the design flaws have been detected in the States before they hit the Chinese factories? Has anyone from Mattell addressed the safety of older toys that are still out there?

OK.. first off, I'm not supporting him, and I don't agree with him on most issues.

But.. Hillary is becoming over-confident yet doesn't want to show clearly where she stands, and that it will be her undoing. Obama is seen as stumbling over his own positions.

On the other hand, Edwards seem to have a clear plan, while Hillary is still trying to make up her mind and not laying out any clear plan.

But they spin this with "democrats would leak it to the terrorists".
