Henry VIII-----He was nominated under the "Peace" catagory. That's why they call it the Peace Prize. Also, I don't know, yet, how to link sites but if you would key into Yahoo---Nobel Peace Prize Rush---you can find all the sites where it is reported.

It would be pretty funny...and I understand he actually has some support, although I doubt the liberal leaning Nobel folks will give it a second thought...any way, the Prize is so discredited by Jimmy Carter winning it will just be made a cosmic joke if Al Gore wins.

Given that he was nominated by a conservative radio talk show host I don't think it bears too much merit. However, if he did win, congratulations to him. It is too bad that if that is the case it would most likely render the Nobel Peace Prize irrelevant.

I can nominate YOU for the Nobel Peace Prize, but it doesn't mean that the Nobel committee will listen to me, nor am I an official 'nominator' of the prize appointed by the Nobel organziation.

So whomever nominated Rush, was probably not an official with the Nobel organziation, thus, the nomination was probably laughed off by the committee in about 3 seconds, maybe less, before it hit the garbage.

What category would he be nominated under? By the way, where is your link showing that he has, indeed been nomintated? I smell the BS piling up with this question.

Actually it would be hilarious to see the look on the neocons when Al Gore gets the Nobel Prize.

There have been 3 American Presidents who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and they are all three liberals. They are Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and Jimmy Carter.

they would start saying the Nobel Peace Prize is a sham and that there must be a conspiracy... lol... and people look... Rush being nominated (he wont win), isnt any worse than Jimmy Carter WINNING... lol.. that guy is public enemy #1 in my book.

I like to see him win.

When a known terrorists win the Peace Prize it has become a joke.

It will be more of joke if Al Gore wins.

Being nominated for the Nobel means less than being nominated for the Oscar. Rush's backers put up the money to put his name in. It's a publicity stunt and Rush has zero chance of winning.

The “compassionate” libs are at it again. As soon as Rush is mentioned the foaming of the mouth begins. Funny creatures they are! Rush is on record for being 98.8% correct and you still have nuts denouncing him. He wont win. Not because he doesn’t deserve it, but because he is conservative

Henry VIII made my point.Thanks. Mostly liberals, antiamericans and terrorists win, and in some cases you have people that are two out of three (Carter)

It wouldn't bother me a bit. When the late Arafat won it I lost all respect.

If he won, it would only serve to tarnish the integrity of the nobel peace prize.
