I read now that Turkey is getting ready to chase PKK rebels back into Iraq when they attack across the Turkish border. Yet the Iraqis object to partitioning their country along ethnic lines. That means that Kurdistan is still technically part of Iraq, so shouldn't the Iraqis force the PKK to disband and lay down their weapons? If they won't or can't, shouldn't the US occupation force the issue? After all, Turkey is a NATO ally.
Or do we perhaps only use terrorism as an excuse to invade when it suits our political aims of the moment?

Jacob--out of the park? Really? Because the truth matters to you but not to me? Fascinating.
Here's from your link (which was about Italy's PM signing up for the "Coalition Of The Willing"). Bush said "The more people involved in Iraq, the better off we will be."
Italy pulled out last year. England is about to drop its contingent to <3000 men. We've got 160,000 there. Do the math; or do numbers not qualify as "facts" in this context?
