Reading some of these responses, it occurs to me that this country deserves whatever may come.

The people have degenerated into animals.

if you are not a US citizen. if there is the believe that you are a threat to the USA. yeah. tired of seeing US citizens attacked around the world, while a bunch of MUSLIMS dance in the street, cheering. i have no problem seeing those people tortured, i have no problem with the idea of wiping some cities off the face of the earth. if your god wants you to kill all of those that do not worship him your way. i think you miss understood something and think you need to go speak to him.

Thats only for foreigners. Not good god-fearing Americans. We are the beloved of GOD. Not those Jews. And the BIBLE says it OK for Americans to torture foreigners. OK, maybe its OK to torture liberals or other disloyal americans bent on the destruction of AMERICA. Don't you know anything?

If the CIA is capturing, torturing and confining, international terrorist, criminals bent on killing others, then yes, they, YES, I vigorously defend them.

If there is a case of mistaken identity, then the system must be corrected and the victim must be compensated.

Jerry C has it right this can not happen to you if you are a citizen of this country. US Citizens have rights that can not be taken away from you and if you let them take them away, I do not fell bad for you.

That's not exactly true. If you are a US Citizen then all your rights apply. They are obliged to follow the rule of law and stating that its not the case is just silly. In case you have elected to forget, there has been only ONE case of mistaken identity where a US citizen was concerned.

You don't know what you're talking about and only regurgitating one-sided liberal press.

So just stop before you hurt yourself.

I guess a power drill through the eyes, removal of fingers, and a video-taped beheading don't bother you.

It is OK if the victim is a Muslim, just brand him a fundamentalist and torture and confinement becomes legal. USA has got self imposed right to kill any one he is or may be remotely threat to it or its interest in any manner.
So, never mind after all might is still right in this world and we are under Bush and long live the jungle (Bush) law.

If I'm a terrorist, yes.

More importantly, foreign nationals not in the US don't have any rights in US courts in this context.

Where on Earth did all this concern for people trying to murder us come from? Have we gone mad?

Why do people believe everything they read? It may of very well happened. But I see a lot of people going hysterical after referencing one online article.

There are always at least two sides to the story.
