the only way to get papers in america is to either get married to an american or work until u reach hell. don't u think if the government made more choices for those people that believe in the land of oppurtunity their wouldn't be so many illegal immigrants. they only come here to live a good life instead of living poor. america is supposed to be "land of oppurtunity"

I've already enlisted, and have been through the Meps medical exam. I've been checked off as my medical status being acceptable. I've already been told I'm leaving for basic training in 2 days, and my AIT has already been reserved for me. I do need a root canal done, and just haven't gotten around to it. Will this disqualify me this late in the proccess?

Whites threaten "Race War" against
Mexican-Americans and other Latinos

There has been increasing talk of a "Race War" against Mexican-Americans and other Latinos on White hate web sites and on discussion forums run by mainstream news services.

Commentaries of an impending race war are not just being articulated by White supremacist crazies through anonymous postings on Internet forums but have also been insinuated by the likes of former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, who warned of a war with Mexico, and more recently by former candidate for US President Patrick Buchanan in his book "The Death of the West".

In a July 15, 2007 article, we reported on how an online forum sponsored by Time Warner's American Online (AOL) was being utilized to urge Whites to arm themselves and "kill the beaners". One posting said, "If You Are Not Armed Now You better get that way fast."

Most disturbing is that these sort of discussions are now taking place on forums sponsored by mainstream news services such as the Orange County Register newspaper in California and on many others. On July 28 in the Daily Sentinel of Colorado the following statement was published: "This kind of thing is happening all over the country. The unwelcome invading parasites who shouldn't even be here have declared open season on Whites. It's an escalating race war against Whites, but most Whites don't realize what's happening yet. God help the invaders when Whites are cornered and finally forced to fight back. There will be a huge race war in the USA. Count on it. Be prepared."

What do these disturbing and frightening commentaries signify for the Mexican-American and Latino communities? Many of us here in Southern California have not forgotten that horrific day of July 18, 1984 when an anti-Mexican racist massacred 22, mostly women and children, at a McDonald's Restaurant in San Ysidro, California. On that day a racist killer named James Oliver Huberty put on military style clothing and told his wife he was going hunting for Mexicans. James Oliver Huberty is today revered by many Minutemen vigilantes as the "father" of their movement. In today's anti-Mexican environment these types of incidents can rapidly escalate.

What are we to do? We must begin implementing community defense strategies. Last night, Augustin Aguayo, the courageous US soldier who refused to kill Iraqi civilians, spoke on "La Causa" program of KPFK radio in Los Angeles. He said that the reason he became a "Conscientious Objector" and refused to return to Iraq was that he became aware of the racist nature of the war against the Iraqi people. We also remember Andres Raya, the decorated US Marine who decided to bring "Fallujah" back to his hometown of Ceres, California. We need to tap into military trained veterans, that number in the tens of thousands just in California, to provide a defense of our communities just in case the White crazies decide to do something foolish.

Even though we do vote for the politicians don't you feel as if they are not making the best decisions for our country and they are not doing what we want them to do? The politicians are supposed to represent our country and what the people want not do what they want all of the time so why are we not being listened to? Why are things not getting done that need to be done and why are the politicians not listening to us?

Or are they under the "don't ask, don't tell" rule much like what they required in the military? Some of our elected officials were clossetted homosexuals prior to being elected, then declare their true orientation after much to dismay of many of their constituents. Shouldn't our presidential candidates declare now their sexual orientation so that there would be no suprises after election? I can see it now " The president declares he or she is gay"

I was at a theme park and couldn't help but see a guy who was confronted by the park mgr. because he had received some complaints about the guy taking photos of females who were close by but looking the other way. The mgr. made sure that any female pics were deleted. Then I heard the manager quote "Do you realize that you could be charged with sexual harressment? You leave the park now or i call the police who won't be leniant with a case like this" Was the manager truthful or just putting fear into this innocent person assuming he was going to upload the pics to some site that would scar the 2 females reputation for life? If he only intended the pics to be used strictly to keep to himself wouldn't he only get a warning or a slap on the wrist? In my book it's legal to take pictures of any subject what so ever as long as you don't publish it to the public without the subject's permission.

to be continued

The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard all have co-ed basic/boot camp. (Although only 2 Army basic training sites are co-ed) Do you feel that the military would benefit from single sex basic/boot camp training like the Marines have? Which kind of training did you have? What do you think the pros and cons are?

I had co-ed training in the Army at Ft. Jackson. I’m torn on this issue. On one hand, men and women work together in the military so it makes sense to train together. However, when we worked in teams or groups, men would always have the burden of the most physically demanding tasks. Usually females didn't step up to plate at that point. If basic was single sex they would be forced to. Of course this is just based on my 9 week cycle. I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks.

There are 12-20 million undocumented living in this country. Something needs to be done to assure that we know who is here and what they are doing. Both sides have valid points, but, for seemingly different reasons.

I understand the impact of having this many people here with a completely foreign culture & customs can have on our society socially, and, the economic impact that we are being faced with- especially if the rate of growth increases with the undocumented. These are all concerns.

However, when I read the posts by "pros" they are typically more related to emotion- the plight of the immigrants, their intentions, their work habits, the condition of their old country, etc. These are all, obviously, emotions.

Is this an issue where your position is simply decided by which rules- your head or your heart?

My brothers ex-wife filed criminal charges in India against my brother stating that he has harrassed her. My brother is a US citizen. She is a Indian Citizen. Can she really have my brother extradited from U.S.A to India? Her allegations are not true, but the legal authorities in Indian have taken her case and are reviewing it. They have supposedly issued an arrest warrant against my brother. It is kind of ridiculous that he has to appear in the court in India and risk losing his job (due to the time that could be consumed with this lawsuit) and spend all the money for travel + legal costs, especially when he has not committed any harrassment. Her allegations are tottaly baseless.

We are also consulting lawyers in India to get details and thoughts/ideas to counter the arrest warrant issued, but I'm looking for anyone that has a dealt with similar situation in the past and can give me any advise/contact information to handle the situation more effectively. Thanks in advance.

I Already know that people are thinking im a deadbeat so just get it out of your system then maybe answer the question. I agreed in my divorce decree to pay 550 a month for two kids. I was willing and able to pay it at the time. I love my kids and would give them a million if I could.

i hurt my arm really bad and have since( 3 years off and on) had a hard time paying my support. im now behind 10000 on it. I was arrested recently and paid a bond to get out of jail. I want to care for the kids but at this point I just cant hardly keep a job and pay support. im going to take two jobs at fast food places in order to try to catch up.

I have an arraignment soon and I was wondering if you thought i would spend jail time. this is my first offense of ANY kind at all. im a generally "good citizen" and i dont break the law. im going to bring some more money with me to put towards the back owed money and like i said ill try to have two jobs before i go to court

Why do Americans have such animosity towards the French, (even to the point where they distort history to villify them)? In England we make fun of them occassionally in the press and on television. Myself and other Britons even have friends across the channel. But we don't publish falsehoods about them in our history books or intentionally teach lies about them in our schools. (That's the only way I could see the asker of the mentioned question coming to the conclusions he had about France).

I just want to know what Americans think. You're not all like that are you?
