how will that affect the Democrat senators that voted to say they support the organization? And the Democrat senators that were so panic-stricken they refused to take a public stand on issue by not voting all together?

They've dug themselves a rather deep hole...

We do, which is why Moveon's organizers are not in jail. The First Amendment doesn't say that anyone can say what they like without consequences. Seditious speech is not given First Amendment protection. Neither is libel.

MoveOn.org has bought and paid for the Democratic party. They effectively bought representation for their agenda. Glad to know that the left is for sale. 2008 could bring the first ever sponsored president. Hillary might have to say "brought to you by MoveOn.org" before every state of union address.

Think First is right. Anyone calling them anti-American is in reality the anti-American. Thankfully, MoveOn has got the guts to say what many people feel. Congress is using this as further distraction from their gutless inaction.

Let's see MoveOn.org used it's Constitutional right of free speech to voice their opinion about the Patreus testimony. Funny, I always thought a democratic society valued free speech. So how was anything MoveOn.org did anti-American? It seems more likely that what MoveOn.org had to say in their ad struck a little to close to the truth and that is why the Repubs are so upset.

Do you really believe that anything that comes out of congress carries much weight with the public? I think Moveon.org even has a higher approval rating than the senate. Maybe moveon.org is anti-American (I wouldn't doubt it), but I think more Americans think that congress is anti-American (its members certainly don't respect the wishes of their constituents).

I don't know that they are anti-American, but they are quite stupid. Attacking a military commanders congressional testimony is one thing, to do it before it was even given is quite another. And by the way HATE SPEECH IS NOT FREE SPEECH.

Very possibly they were voting that way to support the organization's right to say what they want. Barbara Boxer asked if they were supposed to be the ad police. No they aren't.

Nobody will answer-when did the USA lose it's democracy and what form of government do you have now?

They didn't vote to support the organization, they were trying to protest the vote over a newspaper ad-what a stupid thing to vote on.

Should they have discussed and voted on the swiftboaters and how they dishonored Kerry? C'mon, can't believe that's time well spent.
