Illegal (invalid) traffic stop for speeding?
Is a radar reading admissable evidence if the radar unit was not recently calibrated, maintenance and calibration records are not available, and the radar gun itself cannot be located (disposed of, or in storage, whereabouts unknown)? Is there a legal precedent, preferably from MN court? If the radar evidence is thrown out, can the stop be based solely on the officer's visual estimation (at night, coming from opposite directions, and the officer was in his third month of active duty)? Any legal precedent here?

Anyone republican or democrat would not be elected into power if they kept the Iraq war going with the draft.

Therefore they are using the same troops over and over again, compare this with the Sin of David, where he kept Uriah in battle until he died so that David could obtain the prize of Uriah's wife (2nd book of Samual, chapter 11):

14 ¶ And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Jo'ab, and sent it by the hand of Uri'ah.

15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uri'ah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

Its not a perfect analogy, but is there something parallel going on here?

I can understand using the electoral college to elect before 2000's when not everyone had some sort of access to internet and voting machines were not wide spread, but now it's possible. Why doesn't the U.S. have direct presidential elections?

Well it seems that because of the ACLU we can't openly practice our religion(and not just for prayer in school...I'm also talking about cases against Muslims and Hindus that have been in the news lately)

We can't bear arms unless we have the proper permits...(what's next? no guns at all?)

Freedom of Speech is being stepped on, little by little....

Freedom of Press......as long as it doesn't tell any secrets, then it's "they're despicable!"

Etc. etc.....

They have the most unpopular president since Nixon, they lost Congress in a landslide a year ago, the Iraq war is the least popular war since the last few months of Vietnam, their Presidential front runner has less support than the number of undecideds in their own party, a full third of Republicans have completely abandoned their own President ---- and they think they have a good chance of winning in 08!!!!

Have you ever seen such a pile of "confused" people in your life?
