17 in Georgia. BTW, if you are old enough to leave home, you are old enough to leave the state.

You can get some people in serious trouble, like "Interference with Custody"! That is a crime, and it is across state lines, so it makes it a federal one!

Why don't you work it out with your parents? You can't run away from home because you don't like their rules or you can't do what you want. If it is something else go to the police!

It is possible when you are 18 or have been emancipated! What about school, or have you dropped out?

And daniels, that isn't true as I worked as an investigator of child abuse and neglect. If she is underage and-is not emancipated she can be picked up! We did it all the time! We even sent one back to Germany, though she was a US citizen per an order of Steven McCauliff, a Federal District Judge in New Hampshire! And yes he was Christa's husband!

in the state of Missouri once you leave home at seventeen you are free to move about the country without restrictions. Juvenile laws are enforced by the state of where you parents live when you leave home, not where you move to.
