No! If you did it first, and it's really your own, and it's on paper, you can put the copyright symbol on it.

the 1978 federal law concerning copyrights states that the moment a writing is put to paper.. the copy rights begin right then and right there.. whether you have filed for the copyrights or not.. if you created the work.. dated it and mail it to yourself in a stamped envelope so that you will have proof of it.. then put the copyright symbol on it.. you created it..you own it.. that is what the law says..

technically it is violating the copyright on the copyright symbol. a more proper thing to due is write 'copyright pending' or something along those lines on your doodle.
