Senator Craig and Vitters are just two of the literally dozens of REPUBLICAN monumental hypocrities who in recent times got elected on FAMILY VALUES all the while their were "doing their thing".

Craig was particularily demonizing and vilifying of homosexuals and low and behold there is was begging a police officer for a mouthful.

Fool me once, shame on YOU,Fool me twice ,shame on ME.

A friend of mine's husband who is in the army slept with another woman, and she wants to know if he can still get in trouble even if she doesn't want charges brought. Apparently his company knows about it.

All I hear in the (liberal) news and around me is that the Bush administration is doing awful. Then why hasn't anything happened? Didn't the Dems gaining power suppose to do something? Clinton lied... but truthfully speaking... no one died. Are we a country of uncaring citizens or are we sheep? Someone, please explain!

UTSA (San Antonio) has a statue of an illegal immigrant carrying his family across the Rio Grande. What makes people think the U.S. Government can or will do anything about illegal immigration when there is a statue celebrating it in the middle of a State University.

I am quite sure he is pocketing the money!

Is it, or should it, be my responsibility to check that my money is reaching the right people or only that it is getting me to do what I need to do?

In particular, I go to the beach and the guy at the booth often neglects to give me the slip of paper after I pay the admission fee. Even though nobody checks, I am wondering whether in the name of morality I should insist that he give it to me.

Does it seem strange that if you miss payments or failed to pay arrears on time due to unemployment that the courts can suspend your license?

What good comes from suspending a license?

Thoughts?

I have this one charachter that sent me an email about one of my questions from this morning:
From: d j

Subject: Do you really not know the difference between 8 and 93? really kid?

Message: AS a conservative myself, i just wanted to point out that not knowing makes you look like an idiot. Reagan replaced all 93. So did Nixon. If a democrat wins in 08, they will also replace all 93. It has been done at the start of a new term when the party changes for the last hundred and some years. But firing the ones that put cunningham, ney, and abramoff behind bars in the middle of a term is wrong, and might be illegal. If you cannot tell the difference, i have a suggestion for you. Instead of looking like a complete moron, troll about other things.

Was my question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Av0t3A1qz4uRvWqPGlpd3hnsy6IX?qid=20070828112956AAKADeI suggestive of trolling or did it ACTUALLY appear that I honestly did not know what the deal was in BOTH instances?

Over and over the founding fathers advised us to stay out of the afairs of other countries and yet from the turn of the 20th century to today the United States has involved its self in dozens of petty disputes from the Philippines to Iraq. Why?

Clinton used his position to have sex with a supbordinate while Craig solicited sex from a stranger.

So why are liberals making such generalization about all republicans when the leader of their party totally violated the Feminists and committed sexual harrassment in the White House?

Where is the fairness for all? Where are those libs screaming that a government official's private sex habits are not the business of anyone else?

Oh and who exactly has been running the ethics committee in Congress?

Do you say something? We were discussing this at work today. One girl went to Wendy's & paid with a $20. The girl wasn't paying attention & gave her back her change & the $20. She told the cashier about it. But another time, at a bank, she was given extra money, about $100, & kept that. She would have returned it if they had discovered their mistake but they never did.

It always comes out of my mouth before I can stop it. At Pet Smart once the guy rang up two 40 lb boxes of litter & a big bag of dry cat food & then my other things. The bill was real low so I asked him if he had gotten what was in the cart. It didn't ring up for some reason. He thanked me for being honest. I knew it was the right thing to do but I still was kicking myself.

Another girl had mentioned a wrong bill a few times at a local drug store. The next time the two girls were talking. One was putting items in a bag before the other rang them up. This time the girl I know just let her do it.

With all the disinformation I don't know what to believe. Our President seems to believe American style democracy in Iraq will be good for everyone. Maybe. Who knows?

I really don't know if we are supposed to believe we are fighting terrorists in Iraq or we are fighting to rebuild a nation ravaged by a brutal dictator and years of war.

Is the end goal a free market for the oil?

I want to join the Army for 4 years active duty as an Indirect Fire Infantryman(11C).I'm not scared to get sent to Iraq.
I want to become a soldier, & soldiers fight in wars. But my mom doesn't support my decision to enlist at all.My older brother committed suicide when I was 9, he was 19.And my dad died when I was 13. And she is worried about my safety if I join the Army. She told me, that she doesn't want to lose another man in her life. And my grandma doesn't want me to enlist, & she is probably going to die soon. She is 84, & has a very weak heart. I've already talked to a recruiter about my situation. And he told me that the Army probably wouldn't let me come home to my grandma's funeral. If she died while I was in bootcamp, or serving active duty.I want to go to her funeral. But I don't know how my mom is going to handle her death. She might be very upset, & want me to stay home. Do you think I should wait to enlist until after my grandma dies?
Serious answers only please.
