Yeah. McCain never had a chance. He's a piece of crap. I don't care how long the Vietnamese tortured him. He's a liberal in Republican clothes. Get out McCain...go be a Dem.

Pretty much so. McCain was a hero because of his POW status, and rode that fame to the Senate. His problem was, of course, that he was never a real conservative and people saw through it. He was the darling of the fence straddlers for a period, but he's pretty much a thing of the past now and will probably retire before long.
