Would you still have a problem with them coming to the United States?

how do you deal with this mean interviewees, like the ones in the embassies who ask too many documents from pitiful job seekers from the third world country to find job in their 1st world country, yet, allowed the "terrorist" to get in their country simply because these evil men come from the 1st world country as well.

Has he even taken the time to consider the spouces and children left behind? Has he ever paced the floors with a worried spouce, or comforted a crying child? Does he even care why we cry, why we can't sleep or eat? Does he even remotely know what it is like wondering day in and day out if our loved ones are still alive? Could he even pace the floors with us and know why he is there? Has he taken the time to have dinner with a family that can only push the food around on our plates, because of worry? My door is open to him, if he cares, which by now WE ALL KNOW HE DOES NOT!!! I hope he can sleep at night, because my husband has his back, and I'm praying all night. When you take the the support beams out of a roof it will hold for a while, but then it begins to sink in the middle, and the the weight is too much and it begins to cave in. Welcome to my life. Do you have a heart at all? Nevermind I know the answer to that. Proud of my Soldier, not my President.............

I understand that a high score on the LSAT can overcome average grade points and that there may be schools open to undergrads without a Bachelor's. The closer to Missouri the better.

Don't get me wrong I love mexicans...and other assorted latino immigrants, my X girlfriend was mexican and i like tacos. But i have this huge petpeave...I cannot frikin stand it when I encounter latino folks who live in America and can't understand even the simplist English clauses. How do these people's brains work??? If I were to visit France I would take a few days to learn some basic French so that I wouldn't be a total outcast. But there are immigrants who visit America for years at a time sometimes perminantly and still dont know what a fork is...and it's not like they don't have the resources to learn english...We let them get away with it by printing out Spanish translations for everything from DMV tests to voter registration...I have no ill-will towards these people but when I encounter one I choose to ignore them because they already (by inaction) choose NOT to learn english with their own stubborn apathy. If you don't speak spanish, how do you respond to one of these folks?

I saw video today of people in Cancun being proactive against this hurricance a full two days in advance of landfall. Those people rock in my opinion.

It seems like every time I hear her latley she is talking about something Barack Obama said or defending herself in some way. I feel as though she feels threatened by him, almost like he is her only real competition.

If you are not a citizen of the U.S. but are a legal resident they could fill out papers and file to make the child a U.S. citizen.

If they are just visiting or illegal (no U.S. citizenship) what do you think?

I'm 23, and I'm planning to go into the US Navy in the beginning of 2009 to serve in a legal-related rating after I finish an Associates Degree from the Community College when I'm 25. With this degree, plus credits I earned at a 4-year college between 2002 and 2004, I will have 114 credits in various but relevant fields (Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, Political Science). I also have 7 years of managerial work experience, internships as a paralegal, and a wealth of community service behind me.

Is there ANY possibility that I could get into Navy OCS? Or will my inability to afford a Bachelor's Degree be held against me?

If you haven't heard of the North American Union, then find out all you can and do anything you can to stop it. Without consultation, without a referendum, the leaders of America, Canada and Mexico are going to dissolve the borders and end Canada as a soverign state. Do you want US soldiers stationed in your country? Do you want America in charge of your environment and resources? Do you want the same healthcare as North America, where insurance companies bleed you dry with premiums and then leave you to die when you need help?

It's your choice. You will get the government you deserve if you don't fight this.

I personally don't. They haven't done anything in the past 7 years about having the immigration laws enforced, what is to make them enforce any other laws? The only reason why they are enforcing the current laws now (a few raids which have detained a small number of people) is because the amnesty bill failed and they are trying to get people's eyes off of the non-enforcement so they can try to push amnesty again in the next few months.

I'm talking about an enlisted Army man, in the service for 2 years, who has been sent to Iraq twice now. He has a new wife living at home with her mother, a baby on the way, and an ex-wife and child to whom he pays support. The new wife is telling people he's making over $8,000 a month, and she says the Army is paying for a house in South Carolina for her even though she isn't living there. She also claims that he's getting 20 days leave when the baby is due and that, even though he signed up for 6 more years in the Army, he's been promised he won't have to go back to Iraq. For those who know, does any of this ring true?
