I live in a community of over 1000 houses. The builder has been here for more than 6 years selling these houses. I recently got my water report in, and it's not only uranium, it's strontium and tritium (I just figured that everyone would know what uranium is). Yes, they knew it was in the water, they had to, they have been here for over 6 years.

There is a nuclear power plant less than an hour from me. They are not dumping in all the water, just one third of the water supply in my county (there are three water sources).

If I want to sell my house, I would have to take a loss larger than what I have in equity; I would not be able to pay off the mortgage.

That is so hard to prove that your builder sold you a house with a running water with uranium in it. Usually the builders are not responsible in attaching themselves regarding sanitary or plumbing section of the house they are building, you should consult the engineer's who are responsible in building your house.

In order to settle the dispute, you have to ask the building engineer's in your county if they detect uranium in your house. Uranium? wow! somebody is building a bomb near your house? Or some factory that is connected with the housing water distribution near you. And if they do then that is to determined the responsibility of the builder since most of these housing has different contractors.

Only if you can prove that the builder had reason to know of the uranium. But, if you have uranium in your water, you need to call the EPA and CDC RIGHT THIS MINUTE. Your entire community is at risk for unbelieveable health problems.

Only if the builder is responsible for the uranium being there or knowing about it and not telling.

The builder did not supply the water. He just erected the structure. The government supplied the water. No.
