I'd have to know what state you were in and what else she was charged with, if anything. In most states, she gets at least a year, and in a few she gets 10.

Oh dear, depends which state she is in, but she obviously has a major problem, 6 DUI's. May get a lessened sentence for participation in education, AA, or drivers ed, but what she really needs is some time behind bars to get her off the road.
You're lucky since in many countries, she would have been in jail after number two.
The drink driving penalties in this country are a joke. Drinking and driving should be made a felony in ALL cases.
I hope your Mom is not in my city since I drive my kids around and I dread to think she is still on the road after 6 DUIs. Sorry for being so harsh, but it needs to be said.

Depends on what state and how far apart from each other the DUIs are. Has she been to prison before? Has she been to prison for DUIs? If she has 6 and hasn't been before that means that you live in a very drunk-driving-liberal state and she faces, months, not years, if anything. Normally I would say between 30 and 90 days.

What state are you in?

In AZ If you get three DUIs within 5 years - 2 years in prison

Getting a DUI with suspended license (for DUI) - 2 years in prison

Whichever state your are in your mom is looking at big trouble, best of luck to her and you

All States have different Statutes. I can't believe she didn't do time after the 4th one.
4 DUI's in Ten years gets you 16 Months in California.
Check the laws of your State.

Thank God she's finally going to be taken off the roads! Glad no one was killed before they finally took action.

I think 1 year for every DUI would be good. Then she can be out in what....3 months because the prisons are overcrowded and people get "time for good behavior".
