most likely not because it is illegal in many parts of the world because of its harmful effects to the entire food chain. although it was useful in managing mosquitos and certain other bugs (ie bedbugs) it nearly wiped out many species of birds and the bugs were able to adapt and survive the chemical.

I hope so because DDT has saved millions of lives from devastating malarial mosquito's!! It has never been "proven" that it is a detriment to people and wildlife!!

No. It isn't a great pesticide, there are better and cheaper out there.
