A month ago I would have included McCain and Edwards but they have really dropped off. So now there are 4; do any of the other candidates really matter on either side?

As a girl who has a boyfriend serving in Iraq, and many marine friends, I need to know if this is true. I understand if they oppose the war, but haven't they heard of supporting the troops? Anyway, I don't want to jump to conclusions until I know the truth. I mean, I love a grande nonfat mocha as much as the next girl.... but if it is true I will never go there again, and will make sure that everyone I know, is aware....Thank you!!!!

i will be entering as an married e-2 mos 19delta a.k.a calvary scout. i was wondering about the pay,also housing allowance that i would receive also my fiance was wondering as to what base life was like for women, most likely i will be deployed is there overseas pay for that also? will she be taken care of while im overseas.
she wonders what activities, clubs for women exist.

I live in Texas, I was trying to sell my old car so I posted on the local news paper. I got several calls some of them were very interesed on buying my car. One of them offer me 400 dollars less than what I was asking. I said yes, thinking that he would pay me right there and then, but then he said that he would bring me the check 4 days later. When he was living I shuke his hand and said "It was nice to meet you". 2 days later a men came to my house to see the car and he offer me the whole amount so I took it. That same day the man that offer me 400 dollars less called, I told him that I had already sold the car. He got furrious and said that he was a lawyer and that in the state of Texas shaking someones hand was a verbal agriment and that he was going to buy another car and that I had to pay him for the differance. Is this right? I don't want to go to court? What should I do?

From single mothers and their children to the elderly who's pensions were bankrupted by the company they worked for.... to the veterans who were mentally broken from war...to the mentally handicapped ......etc.,etc.,etc.

his mistress is pregnant and she always asks money to my partner and always gave her while in fact he is not rich, he only act as one he's only an employee and his mistress comes to our house if he cant give money to her. dollar level of funds sent back home to their familys from their labors here in the USA,many of those people may be using mine or your SSNumber to allow taxes to be taken out of their pay checks so their can appear to be working legally,that money is going to the US government and the latin workers will never see a penny of it, my question is who is removing it from your yearly earnings total ,if this is really going on then you can see the flaw ,The benifits to a bank account of money made by people who don't exist could be a nice thing to retire on, so could this give reason to the rejection of a immigration reform bill to make those people real and give their tax money a point to return to later in life after all their years of work, if they are already here and have been for years working paying rent buying cars buying food, paying tax on many things, who is stealing from who in this arrangment,and have you ever gotten medical treatment without paying, so how can they, whats up?

Most republicans I have heard talk on this matter seem to always say its the responsibility of the states. Ok. Lets assume that I agree with you on that. How will the states pay for it. Ok. Lets assume you say that the federal government gives the states money for it, but that the states squander it on other things. If that is your view, can you tell me which programs the states should eliminate to help fix the decaying infrastructure? and lets assume you give me a list of 2 3 4 or 5 programs etc that you would eradicate to fix infrastructure a) what will those who benefit currently from those programs do in their absence, and b) what happens to all the money that the federal government collects in taxes if most social spending is the states' responsibility. Does the fed govt get to pretty spend that money at leisure and waste it...while the states pile on tax payers with additional taxes?

I have given my social security number to many companies. However, what happens when you give it to them? I once gave it to a paramedic...why would he need for? What can a EMT do with my social security number? Does my social security number become tied up in state and federal records? Will government officials be able to see my social security number now that has it been given? Or is there some sort of privacy for the holder of a social security number? When and how do they look for it when necessary?? Any answers??

Isn't it contradicting when Democrats say it's ok for women to have abortions when the mother knowingly can't provide for the child financially but is pro social programs, such as welfare, which gives the underprivileged access to entities which supplement low income families effectively giving them access to resources they wouldn't be able to provide on their own financially?

Simply stated, How can Dem's support both?

do we have to use a Lawyer again to change it and re-write.another one? Ifs it legal to write up a will yourself and have it notorized by 3 people, would it be legal and over write the previous will?
