dollar level of funds sent back home to their familys from their labors here in the USA,many of those people may be using mine or your SSNumber to allow taxes to be taken out of their pay checks so their can appear to be working legally, that money is going to the US government and the latin workers will never see a penny of it, my question is who is removing it from your yearly earnings total ,if this is really going on then you can see the flaw ,The benifits to a bank account of money made by people who don't exist could be a nice thing to retire on, so could this give reason to the rejection of a immigration reform bill to make those people real and give their tax money a point to return to later in life after all their years of work, if they are already here and have been for years working paying rent buying cars buying food, paying tax on many things, who is stealing from who in this arrangment, and have you ever gotten medical treatment without paying, so how can they, whats up?

Could you tell me where you got that figure? $100 billion sent home by 2010.

I agree with your reasoning. I believe from what I have read and from my own reasoning that illegals and legals do more good than harm to the US economy. They make and spend money and they pay taxes and they do things that are worth paying for so they bring value.

And the money that immigrants send home does not hurt the US either. How can it? The ONLY thing that you can do with USD is to give it to someone who wants them:

*You can buy things with USD
*You can lend them or invest them
*Or you can exchange them for a currency that you want and someone else will do it.

None of that hurts the US and it actually helps the US in the long run.

Sorry, I can't completely agree with that. I will never agree with the idea of bringing in more illegals. I will never agree with "outsourcing" our jobs to other countries. And it's not the government that hires the "cheap labor". They will pay the migrant workers the minimum wage. It's the employers who hire ILLEGALS, that pay the cheap wage. Plus taxes are never paid by the illegals and the employer is defrauding the IRS. As far as the fake SSN, that won't work. They now will verify this SSN. They will know if it is fake. If it slips through, and is caught later, then the employer will serve a very likely prison term as well as the illegal. The reform is still in the works but I think it is fitting. Steal my SSN and we would have a serious problem. The employer MUST report the SSN/paperwork on it's employees. Some will still try to sneak around it, of course, but God help them if they get caught. The laws will be much, much more severe. Does an employer want to go to prison for an illegal? I hope not.

Oh brother.

This is really very simple. If someone crosses the US border without proper authorization from both governments, then they are breaking the law. The law says that anyone here illegally gets deported back to wherever they came from.

I don't want to hear that they pay taxes (you also forgot to mention how while using someone else's SSN to work, they are also getting, AND RUINING, credit reports for those SSNs) ... because quite frankly, most taxes go back to the government in some way, shape, or form.

Maybe I missed something here.If someone uses my social security number to work and taxes are taken out, the IRS comes after me for tax evasion.I have to prove that I didn't work at my job 40 hours a week plus 40 hours a week at another job in a different state. My credit is ruined and the IRS takes all my assets.
I am going to let the thief collect social security on the wages? What's wrong with this picture?

Not in 2010, but in time. Now I know the how the Indians felt when they saw those Pilgrims ships coming over the horizons/ Between the low birth rates, and increasing death rates of the Anglo Saxons, to the increase birth rate of those from Latin American and the numbers of illegals growing everyday, the future of this country is in flex. I just wonder how long we can keep importing the poverty before we become the a third world country with 90% of the money and power being in 10% of the hands.

Your question seriously makes no sense.
Anyways, i agree with Sergio D.
& Yea, there are only 6 billion people in the world.
by 2010, there will maybe only be a few billion more, if not that, than maybe a few Million more.
I can certainly say it will pretty much be impossible for the
population to be that high, especially only in the USA,
counting for latin workers.
I mean, come on, Common Sense?!

That would be difficult considering there are only about 6 billion people on the whole earth.
Edit: I appologize I did not read your question completely.
However, if they are useing SSNs at all then atleast their paying taxes.

that is a severe lie. the population of all americans is barely past 300 million as it is. and there are only around 15 million illegal immigrants residing in the nation (give or take).

to reach 100 billion in less than three years is a very, very large stretch. even doubling, no, tripling the amount of latinos in america would not support this claim.

its unbelievable to assume that all americans combined could reach such a population in less than three years even if we all attempted to do so (from 300 million to 100 billion).

The IRS keeps track of that,When you don't pay other tax's or file, they come down on you. That could cause withholding any ssn payments or any other benefits you've earned until its straightened out. Plus lawyer fees etc.

Are we going to be alive by then? If the government messes up and don`t secure the border-I don`t even want to imagine it. Maybe Sylvia Brown has the answer for the future.[joke]
