Trust FBI Director Robert Mueller who told Congress that the confrontation between then-White House Counsel Alberto Gonzales and then-Attorney General John Ashcroft in Ashcroft's hospital room in 2004 concerned a controversial surveillance program -- an apparent contradiction of Senate testimony given Tuesday by Gonzales.

I'd go with the FBI director because of what I've read about Gonzales over the past few months and I saw both Mueller's and Gonzales' testimony on C-SPAN. Mueller seemed very credible, Gonzales couldn't keep his story straight while even one senator (can't remember his name) was questioning him.

Don't trust either. My Daddy had a saying: "Trust your Mother, but for everyone else you cut the cards."
