Just simply walk up to him and ask him to leave.

Someone will leave.

Suggest you call him to one side, have a quiet word, tell him what / how the squad feels and ask him to take a look at himself.

I'm sure he's the kind of senior NCO who's only concern is for his men and the squad.

That said - leave it to him to initially resolve it.

In the event it continues, I suggest you then have a quiet word with the exec! No officers will retain someone whose overall behaviour is not conducive to the good of the service. Moreover, once he's informed, he should be given every opportunity to resolve it himself.

Good NCSO's are the back-stone of all military branches and all ranks owe them a debt beyond measure!

If he has been doing things that are unlawful you can always go to the CSM with sworn statements from yourself and others, hopefully having E-6's through E-7 would help alot also. The military has the open door policy for these kinds of situations.

Unless he's doing somthing unlawful or unethical, I'd say its up to your CO to give him the boot. If your just pissed about the way he conducts business or himself, have someone sit down and have a talk with a platoon leader or even your company commander and see if they'll talk to him and get him squared away.

Shadow him, follow him everywhere especially when he goes to the NCO club. Keep track of the number of times he gets drunk, how much he drinks and how drunk he gets. Does he bring his wife to the club with him? Do they both get drunk? Do they both, sarge and wife, gripe at troopers for needing haircuts while they are drunk? Keep track of all this, in memory as well as in notes. None of it will do you a damn bit of good, but it will give you something to do and might be worth a few laughs. Next day when you see him on duty, look at him and smirk, just a little.

It's easier to get yourself out the company.....but unless he's actually done something crazy or you dont mind ruining his entire career by lying, you're pretty much SOL...good luck
