Is it true that Rudolph Guliani's own daughter is supporting Barak Obama? If this is true, that's quite a kick in the ole nut sack for Rudie. Does this make her a Liberal traitor in the eyes of Conservatives and subject to deportation to France or Canada?

The Taliban is like a festering sore filled with rancid pus, refusing to let a people and a nation heal. They thrive on violence in the name of their faith. Should we handle them with extreme measures?

Water supplies to Baghdad have also been cut off for days at a time, with summertime pressures on key systems said to be more intense than ever.

The ministry blamed poor maintenance, fuel shortages, sabotage by insurgents and rising demand for the problems, and said some provinces hold onto supplies.

The US Army told the BBC that Iraq must now take charge of fixing the problems.

The general in charge of helping Iraq rebuild its infrastructure, Michael Walsh, said that although Iraqi authorities only have one-quarter of the money needed for reconstruction, solving the problem was now up to them.

so basically we are wasting billions for what again?

Wasting money left and right, spending 260+ million dollars a day on a war that most americans don't understand? Politicians financing private interests, corrupt private interest groups. Rigged elections... affirmative action.. nepitism... Idiots for president? Illinois governors stealing millions then pardoning guilty people, and then getting a lawyer to fight becuase he thinks he still deserves his $200,000 a yearpension. And this is supposedly ther best country in the world? I also have many friends that work in local goverment, city and state, and the money is just used so inefficiently? I don't get it, i am slowly becoming ashamed of thinking this is the best 2 way to live.... does anyone else agree..
anyone want to start a country which we are accountable for our actions and had to be run like a private company would? not just being able to raise taxes when you aren't making a profit? it's a bunch of crud and i am embarrased..

I have a hospital bill that the insurance initially denied because the emergency room doctor did not indicate that the service was medically necessary - the insurance company told me that. I appealed the decision and my doctor wrote a letter and am waiting on that decision. When I have received bills from the hospital I have returned them twice with the infromation that I have appealed to the insurance and am waiting on a decision. The third time I sent a certified letter which they did receive. Today I got a letter that said if I don't pay the $800 immediately (which I don't have) that it would be sent to a collection agency. I'm not sure what to do at this point - I am not refusing to pay, just want to find out the decision on my appeal first. I'm also leary of anything the hospital tells me since they told me stuff like I wouldn't get a notice from the insurance if they denied the claim - (not the insurance company story) and a different reason for the denial.

How would you propose we fix those problems. BTW, you're not going to get rid of teacher's unions so take that off the list, it just won't happen. Try to be non-reactionary and be practical and thoughtful with your answer. With healthcare, there are less and less people covered today. And, insurance corporations are refusing care to many people who do pay into private health insurance accounts. How do we fix these problems? What would be your solution?

I heard that they hire them instead of using our own military for protection when they go to Iraq. They're also being trained by US marines to do their work. If this is true, why is our government allowed to have it's own private army (assassins) to do it's will?

firstly they secure the release of 9 terrorist from guantanamo who were british citizens, and let them come home and live among us and to do god knows what.now they want to secure the release of 5 more who dont even have british passports.seems to me its a case of lets let as many pottentiol terrorists in to cause as much carnage as possible.can someone tell me why.LONDON (Reuters) - The government asked the United States on Tuesday to release five British residents from Guantanamo Bay in a change of policy that may signal Prime Minister Gordon Brown is taking a more independent stance from Washington.

Foreign Secretary David Miliband sent a formal request to U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for the release of the five men, who were legally resident in Britain before their detention but are not British nationals.

The decision marks a shift from the policy of former Prime Minister Tony Blair's government, which secured the release of all nine British citizens held at the U.S. prison camp in Cuba but maintained it was not responsible for detainees of other nationalities who had simply lived in Britain

"Hillary (when she was First Lady) and Chelsea, and an entourage of two dozen people went on spring break to North Africa in 1999. The airfare alone cost the American taxpayer a colossal $2.3 million dollars. The 'Factor' tried to find out just how much this entire junket cost but failed, because, by law, White House expenditures are sealed for 12 years after a president leaves office. We asked the Clintons to waive that policy so that we the people, who paid for the North African trip, could know the expense. Bill and Hillary, an insider told me, got a kick out of that request." - page 66, "Who's Looking Out For You?" by Bill O'Reilly. Doesn't this seem like a lot of similar stories how the Clintons loved to spend OUR money? What think ye ???
