The mechanized battle tank was a British invention in WW1, and Britain's tank forces were the most advanced in the world at the end of WW1.

By 1933, of the 40 cavalry regiments in the British army - including Territorials, but excluding Indian army - how many were mechanized (as opposed to horse cavalry)?

Number of mechanized cavalry regiments:
[a] 34
[b] 25
[c] 16
[d] 8
[e] 4

Violations would include: Denial of Due Process, Denial of Equal Protection, Denial of Free Speech, and other civil rights violations. Also would any statute of limitation be changed or extended if felonious/ criminal activities were involved in this denial of rights (such as fraud and conspiricay)? While I have been told that the statute of limitation on most all discimination claims and clauses in various laws is 6 months, I can not get a clear and accurate answer if this applies to Constitutional/ Bill of Rights violations also. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

This proves the justice system is flawed and downright unjust. I know there are many people who still say he did it but you have no proof to back it up. Innocent until proven guilty unless you get a civil court jury full of incompetents.

Obama said that he would go into Pakistan, with or without Musharraf's permission, if he had "actionable intelligence" that
Al-Qaida targets were there. Giulliani said that he wouldn't have worded it the way Obama did, but he would do the same thing.
Why is the media making such a big deal about Mitt Romney
attacking Obama for the comment and not saying a thing about the fact that Giulliani agreed with Obama's comment? Isn't Giulliani supposed to be the Republican standard bearer for the war on terror?

It's fun to read the well educated insights of the people that peruse the questions on yahoo, ruffling their feathers and puffing their chests. But really if we were to meet in a political debate and you could not google your reasoning would you stand for your convictions or cower at the fear of looking ignorant and misinformed.

IE-
Your views on Partial Birth Abortion

Your views on President Bush

Your views on the War in Iraq

Your views on Chavez and Citgo

Your views on Sex Education being taught to your 5 year child

Your views on the right to bare arms

Really could you go the distance or would you cowar with the masses and hide behind a political agenda that most proclaim to support and few understand?

I was looking for a job in the paper and came across an ad to work for the USPS. I called and it sounded like a great oppertunity so I registered for the test. They said I would be charged a refundable $99 and a non- refundable fee of $23 for shipping and handling and cost of the study materials. Please tell me this sounds right!

I'm trying to find the latest statistics on Army discharges. Anything from honorably to dishonorable discharges. Can anyone offer any insight or links maybe?

my friend works for a veterans hospital, and i've heard that there are quite a few vets that come in that don't speak any english at all, some are early 30's some are in there mid 70's. so it's not like you can pin this on the draft and say that they were pushed out onto the battlefield with a gun and that's it, some of these guys just aren't that old

I make $45,000 a year. Last Friday I got my paycheck and 23% had been taken out for federal, state, and local taxes and social security and medicare (which I probably will never see). I pay city and local property taxes. Everytime I gas-up I pay fuel taxes. Go shopping-----pay sales taxes. My phone and cable bill includes several taxes. I buy a set of tires or a battery for my car----sale tax and excise tax. Flew to Florida earlier this summer. My airlines ticket had several taxes on it. Wouldn't it be more convenient if my employer just sent my paycheck to the government and then they could send me what they wanted me to have?

What would you say are the pros and cons for each?

Please, no snide remarks. This is a genuine inquiry and I'd really like to know what you people think and why.

If you think you have a better candidate in mind, please free to explain why.

I was listening to a talk show on the radio. Yhey were dicussing a woman who kept driving even though she had EIGHT convictions for DWI. She was driving drunk, got into an accident, and killed some people.

I called into the show and said that I felt the first conviction for DWI should be loss of your car and a year in jail. Second conviction should mean you are in jail for the rest of your life.

The man running the talk show said I was crazy, that that was way too much. What do you think?

I know this is a stupid question, but im 18 right now and i was considering going into law enforcement. This just came across my mind though: i noticed that all male cops have some serious army haircuts! I'm talkin 1's and 2's!! Never really noticed it before until seeing a bunch of em on tv. I was wondering...are officers required to keep their hair that short?
