I've only become more rich myself, but what about you?

Living in the Bay area of California means that I have to constantly hear people around me complaining about how horrible Bush is, and how he is responsible for everything. I'm so sick of it I've decided to vote demoncrat just so we can hurry up and rejoin the motherland so I won't have to hear anymore incessant whining!

The only way to disprove to a liberal that collectivism/socialism/communism doesn't work is to let them fail with it. Even then, I'm sure the reason it didn't work is because Bush somehow managed to be the cause. Bread lines here we come, yay!

Joking by the way, I'm voting for Ron Paul in '08, or anyone else who decides to campaign on reducing the size, spending, and regulations of the fed. :)

Increased wealth has little to do with the President and everything to do with your willingness to work and use discipline in saving and investing. People can say what they want about a President but anyone that has studied economics knows that our economy is cyclic. Save and Invest that's the way to make your money work for you. The President has not touched my life personally know and for that I am greatful. I believe in less power in the hands of the Federal Government and more power in the hands of the State Government which is one of the platforms of the Republican party. So the answer to your question is no he has not. May God continue to bless the office of the President and the this great nation.

No complaints. I thnk Bush has done fine.

But the Democrats are planning to change all that. They believe I have accumulated too much money after starting from pretty ordinary beginnings (although my family stayed together and went to church), educating myself with some financial aid from faith-based and co-op schools, marrying a good supportive wife and raising a family with good moral and work ethics, working full-time for over half a century, and saving the maximum in IRA's and company retirement plans. They want to play Robin Hood and take away what I have worked for all my life and give to those who can be bothered to earn their own living.

Somebody said that he has made them ashamed to be an American.

If that is true and not more typical liberal lies then that person doesn't deserve to be my countryman and is exactly the problem with this country.

My value as a human being and my pride of being American have exactly nothing to do with who sits in the Oval office.

If your Americanism is dependent on factors get the hell out of my country. My love of America is dependent on nothing, zero.

As for how G-Dub has damaged me? I have consistently made more income each year since 2000. I have a wife and two incredible kids all within G-Dub's tenure. I don't credit G-Dub with any of it but I also don't credit him for any harm.

Dana and John, I think it would be best for everyone concerned if you give up your American citizenship and move to another country. We don't need you or want you. Venezuela would be a good place for you, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Alec Baldwin and all the others who threaten to leave, but never make good on their promises.

I haven't really noticed any difference. I think, in most cases, history will judge whether or not a president was a good one - or not. Since, I don't think policy initiatives really start effecting the common people until a decade or two later.

Same as you. It may only be coincidence but my life started improving when Bush took office and is still doing so.

There's no material change that I have noticed. I bet most Americans feel that way too.

Not effected in any way. Best of all I'm not paying higher taxes to pay for some hair-brained "free" health care plan so my lazy-asse neighbor can stay home and pop out extra kids.

JUST SAY NO TO SOCIALISM
