If people vote for the right person, they'd both be out of luck

Funny thing about front runners: They tend to get sniped on by everyone else in the pack... but only if they're Democrats.

I'm adding to that sentence because it really happens a lot in Democratic primaries. Lets remember that 3 years ago at this time Joe Lieberman was leading significantly in Iowa. Then there was a Howard Dean craze, and John Kerry won the state and the nomination.

Front runners at this point, even with significant leads in state and national polls mean nothing. It only indicates that a campaign is healthy. If you're polling at 1-2 pct., that means your campaign is dead, because if polls signify the general health of the campaign, low poll numbers show that your campaign is not attracting new supporters. But among front runners, it's very possible, especially in Democratic primaries, to win the nomination. I would narrow it Hillary, Obama, and Edwards.

Yes, Edwards has the lead in Iowa, but it's not much to gawk at. It's a 2 pct lead over Clinton, and Obama is within the 5 pct margin of error. Iowa is still anyone's game.

Honestly, I think Obama has a 45% chance of capturing the nomination. (a gut feeling).

Certainly possible. John Kerry was fourth in the polls at this time in 2003. I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Richardson, or Biden win the nomination.

Obama simply does not have the experience to justify his run. His advisors are stoking his ego, and raising ambitions he simply cannot justify at this time.

Clinton has the experience. Perhaps only Biden has more, and that can be argued. Obama's run will only waste money, for the minor benefit of increasing his national profile for next time.

Funny thing about front runners: They tend to get sniped on by everyone else in the pack and end up losing to whoever is better poised to take the lead behind them. No one has ever won this race wire to wire.

In primary school, maybe.

With a choice like that, no wonder so many libs are in a panic.

They both are illegal criminal alien lovers. I hope neither gets even close to winning the primary.
