It gives people a choice other than just Democrat and Republican. And who knows, maybe a minor party if it grew strong enough could become a major party player. After all, that's how the Republican party got started.

Competition.

Go look at the time periods when the two-party system fell apart, and one or the other party changed their names. They didn't do that just for fun. They did it because of a fundamental change in the way they did things to try to recoup from serious losses. Sometimes they failed and another party stepped in.

Competition. It's good for every aspect of our country.

It would not. The "0.33" events are marginalized by potential of the media. usa is esentially interior the grip of a ONE occasion device with 2 faces. think of an airplane: One wing is the Republican wing, the different wing is the Democrat wing. no count who you "put in place of work" the airplane in no way adjustments course.
