I heard that they hire them instead of using our own military for protection when they go to Iraq. They're also being trained by US marines to do their work. If this is true, why is our government allowed to have it's own private army (assassins) to do it's will?

When spending taxpayer money, why spend 1000.00 when you can spend 100,000. Also, private armies might have to sign confidentiality agreements so shady dealings can be kept more secret. And finally, if they are private, you don't have to deal with the military chain of command. It is a disgrace and insulting to US soldiers who risk their lives along side private soldiers who make ten times the money. But, honor and integrity have long since been discarded by this administration.

Blackwater is mercenaries not assasins atleast not in public. Thier also more efficent and generally better trained than most our military. A good portion of our domestic law enforcement gets trained by blackwater. also the company is run by basically all ex special forces types and they are generally much faster at making quick decisions in battle. also we dont have to take resposibility for thier actions, they are a corporation and for some reason that shields them from almost all political fall out

uh well your question don't make a hell of a lot of sense. private security agencies are better because the people WANT to be there. many are former soldiers etc....try some critical thinking.

Are you really telling people you don't know the difference between "assassins" and "mercenaries"?

Dictionary Time!

Sure, Britain did it (and does it) frequently. So do most countries.

You really need to get out more.

I don't know the answer to that, maybe we should have them fight the war for us and bring the troops home.
