In the New York Times this week, two noted and vocal critics of OIF, Michael O’Hanlon and Kenneth Pollack, analysts with the Left-leaning Brookings Institution, published an op-ed entitled “A War We Just Might Win.”
Having just returned from a fact-finding tour of Iraq, their op-ed notes, “After the furnace-like heat, the first thing you notice when you land in Baghdad is the morale of our troops. Today, morale is high. The soldiers and Marines... feel now they have the numbers needed to make a real difference.”
On the politics of Iraq, O’Hanlon and Pollack write, “Viewed from Iraq... the political debate in Washington is surreal. The Bush administration has over four years lost essentially all credibility. Yet now the administration’s critics, in part as a result, seem unaware of the significant changes taking place.”
Their analysis continues:“Here is the most important thing Americans need to understand:We are finally getting somewhere in Iraq, at least in military terms.

its unfortunate he has exploited your patriotism and desire to serve and protect this great nation. Perhaps the next country he invades, you'll be given body armor, armored humvees, and a battle plan that was constructed without the influence of his business friends and alcohol.

lets hope you come home soon, if congress would grow a spine.....do you think the American people will support more of bushs cuts to veterans services?

my husband recently received a letter from an employer that is written like this:complete papers are very important to readers and advertisers. So important that we can't trust you to leave the depot until you have assembled all of the papers that you are responsible for. There is more to this but this is just the small part of what it going on.

So do Pro-choice people believe that Scott should be only charged with one count of murder not two.. Do you believe that a unborn is a child for you? What is your opinion....

Optional.... Please State your Current City and Religion......

thank you very much,,,

I have 2 stepchildren and my husband pays a lot of money to his ex-wife each month in child support. We have a baby on the way. It's my understanding that he can get his support reduced because he has to be able to support all 3 of his children equally. Is this true?

Also, do the courts ever take into consideration the mother's salary when determining child support? His ex-wife makes more money than both my husband and me combined. It seems unfair that he still has to pay her so much support considering this.

Thanks for any input!

I see plenty of BAD examples of humans with positions in the church - Catholic pedophiles, Mark Foley, Jimmy Swaggert, etc. And I also see plenty of people without religion that treat other people with dignity, honor and respect - living by the Golden Rule if you will.

I see many people on Y!A with posts that indicate that atheists are immoral or indecent. What gives?

Why is it so important for politicians to roll out their religious credentials?

There are only a few makers of ephedrine and it is too complex to bootleg so like quualudes meth addiction could be wiped out with the stroke of a pen. There are many ways to manage a cold that do not require ephedrine or its deriviatives...is this the true power of the drug lobby in action?

It seems to me that every story has two sides. So I actually try to think of things from their point of view, though it's impossibe. They hate us, don't they have reason to? Maybe not, so switching back to our side, what should we really do? How far should we go?
