It appears that if the oil and gas bill passes then the losers are asking the president to veto it...I thought the American "democracy" was supposed to be the model for the world...doesn't appear to be a "democracy at all..a one man rule..isn't that called a "dictatorship or fascist state..why do the two house even sit?..tell this foreigner why the president doesn't just save time and run everything...please do not resort to "liberal" or "mind your own" or insults to answer tis question...and for those that love to point out spelling mistakes, there is one there for you.

My wife mother come to USA first week of june to july 30. She
was granted a VISA coz she is a goverment employee in the Philippines (NFA) and was suppose to attend training and seminar. she did not attend any of this, instead she work as a baby sitter. My question is How can i call the attention of the US Immigration about this and not to give her again a VISA because it doest'serve the purpose or BAN her from coming back coz she is planning again of coming after four months. And if they (US immigration) granted her again they will add a new RUN AWAY on their list.

how long does it take for an illegal alien to get their green card if they get married to a U.S. citzizen in their home country? Is it a long process and where do they get married, is it like religious and everything or is it just a process of getting papers signed.

Has the relentlessness with which he has pursued his policies has really shown the citizens of the USA what the GOP really stands for the last several years when they have had not only the relentless Bush in office but also the control of all 3 branches of government?? and does this have anything at all to do with the job approval ratings of the Mr. Bush during these years?

Earlier this week Obama makes the statement that if Pakistan doesn't do something to control the taliban within its borders, if he were president, the U.S. would invade Pakistan (a country with nucleur weapons) and take care of the problem. Yesterday he announces that if he were president he would not use nucleur weapons under any circumstances.
What is this man thinking (or is he thinking)?

I was born here...

My parents were both born here...

My grandparents...all 4 of them were born here...

In fact all of their parent were born here....

I keep hearing that "we are all immigrants"....BUT...this is waht the definition of immigrant is...

In the San Francisco Peace Treaty, Japan ceded Taiwan (Formosa) and the Pescadores. But the treaty didn't specify to whom it is ceded to. Therefore it was, and still is, under the authority of the US government. Why hasn't the US goverment handed it over to the ROC authorities on Taiwan?

My mom filed a court order a long time ago, probably sixteen years ago, and tried getting my father to pay child support a number of times, but she never saw a dime. He refused to pay and was sent to jail. When I was younger she’d always ask me if I wanted her to file a claim to put him in jail again. That was when we didn’t know where he was and he wouldn’t call, and I’d cry because I missed him. I never wanted her to, and she only wanted what was best for me, so she just gave up on trying to collect.

I used to see him every other weekend when I was younger, and I'd go to work with him sometimes and help out, a bit ironic. Ever since I’ve know he’s always been paid under-the-table to avoid paying child support, and any other trouble he may have gotten himself into.

He has two other daughters that he’s never paid a dime to, either. The last time I spoke to him, he was living in Florida, trying to run from the law. That was two years ago, but I’m pretty sure he still lives there, probably working illegally still. I am legally an adult; does my mom have a case?

in america,we have to take our pets to vets for all kind of tests and shots,we have to buy food and support them in which case can cost us hundreds if not thousands a year,and i really would like to know is there anything we can do to claim them as our dependants,sounds kind of silly,but they do depend on us .
