My 5 yr old daughter is a victim of identity theft. I found out from Social Services that someone was using my daughters SS# for employment purposes. They have the name of the person and the employers info, but that info can't be provided to me because it violates privacy laws ( who are they protecting???). Anyways, I been given all these numbers to call and all im getting is the run around.....i tried 877-idtheft and all they did was document the info. i have requested wages summary for SSA and EDD. I tried calling the IRS but i cant find a number....the website tells me to fill out a 3949a form.....i cant go to the police unless i have documentation.( i guess i have to wait for the SSA & EDD summaries) Im just lost and frustrated any tips anyone??????

History is always interesting! A new twist to a founding father, perhaps...

By Kyle Alspach, Globe Correspondent | July 22, 2007

DOVER -- Bettye Kearse's ancestors had ties to President James Madison -- they were slaves owned by the Madison family. But she thinks there's more to the story.

She says that Madison fathered a child by one of those slaves, producing her family line.

Her assertion is a matter of much debate, and proof hasn't been found. Kearse, 64, of Dover, still believes it, certain there's truth in a story that has become part of her family's lore.

"It's been passed down from generation to generation, from parent to child," said Kearse, a pediatrician who works at Neponset Health Center in Dorchester and has lived in Dover since 1983. "We have a saying in our family: 'Always remember, you're a Madison.' "

Now she hopes that a team of researchers will help her prove a link between her family and the nation's fourth president.

With their infernal racial set-asides, racial quotas, and race norming, liberals share many of the Klan's premises. The Klan sees the world in terms of race and ethnicity. So do liberals! Indeed, liberals and white supremacists are the only people left in America who are neurotically obsessed with race. Conservatives champion a color-blind society based on merit NOT skin color.

my aunt passed away about four months ago. She didn't leave a will, but she had property. Now all of a sudden, three "sisters "have shown up. They are her step sisters but they were never a part of her life. I didn't even know about them. Now they have put everything into probate without telling us. We have a lawyer and were going to do the same, but now its official. What are my rights? do I even have any as her niece? My dad (her brother) died a year ago, so that was my connection to her. I loved her, she brought my family to the US. I don't want her things and her property to be handed to people that are only involved for the money. Help!

Checks and balances are eroded. We have "free speech zones" and an Office of Faith-Based Initiatives instead of a First Amendment. Our Fourth Amendment protections against unlawful searches and seizures don't seem to apply to domestic spying, as long as it's for "terrorism." The Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination can't be used when the charges are secret. Do you have a "due process" guarantee still? Habeas Corpus? Does the legislative branch still make the laws, or do executive orders & signing statements trump that? Is the Judiciary still independent of the Executive and a check on it? Ask the fired US Attorneys. Declaration of war... isn't that for Congress, and doesn't the CinC role last 2 years? Does "Executive Privilege" apply to everything Congress might otherwise oversee? I'm sure there are others. Thanks in advance for your response.

I ask this because it seems like a lot of things going on now have been part of our ancient history...and we not only have not learned lessons from the past, but now it seen neanderthal like behavior and policies and attitudes are becoming more the rule than exception.

Between Former President Bill Clinton and Current President George W. Bush, who would you rather trust as the leader of your Bible Study Group?

I would rather Trust George W. Bush over Bill Clinton and here is why;

1. Bush has strong faith in God and relies in his faith to get through the difficult challenges in life.

2. Bush remembers to Speak The Truth no matter what the consequences are and he is not Live In Everday Sin (or lies).

3. Bush is a Public Servant who actually remembers to Serve the Public with Passion.

4. Bush cares about his family.

5. Bush is a strong leader who knows how to be a team player.

I used to own one myself but every School holiday we read in the papers and on TV news about shot swans, dogs, cats etc. I am not a spoilsport but if these things cause so much aggro, lets stop selling the things and ban existing airguns!

A friend wrote me personal checks that I cashed out for them and now I owe $1000. I did it because they lost their bank card and knew they needed money to pay rent. I was wondering if I have any valid legal options. I know he has a warrant for his arrest and has written numerous checks that have bounced(as well as forging other people's)

Please be serious.

given the following facts, they are of an ideology that is completely different from your free society ideology. Their ideology is oppression and tyranny and they are sworn enemies of your village because you stand for freedom. So they give weapons to other peoples that hate you to kill your people and make war on you. Meanwhile they sit back, and pretend they want to be your friend and to prove it they offer cheap labor to you so you can lay off all your workers and create jobs and wealth in their village. Their village gets stronger and can then create more weapons to send to your enemies and to threaten you with. And they are in the middle of a great military buildup to threaten your interests. Your are the chief of your free village, would you trade with that village ..given this scenario?

Bush has just ordered that Congress remain in session until his eavesdropping bill is drafted in a form he deems acceptable. Where was this ultimatum when Iraq's parliament decided to go on vacation in the middle of an obvious crisis? I feel like our President Bush really has his priorities upside down. He treats Pelosi like a deadly enemy and shares lobsters at his family home with Putin. Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy talk?
