Earlier this week Obama makes the statement that if Pakistan doesn't do something to control the taliban within its borders, if he were president, the U.S. would invade Pakistan (a country with nucleur weapons) and take care of the problem. Yesterday he announces that if he were president he would not use nucleur weapons under any circumstances.
What is this man thinking (or is he thinking)?

I rarely agree with Hillary on anything, but both were unbelievably naive statements...and may have cost him the election.

And for some of your other Obama supporters that said, "Well he never said he'd invade Pakistan, just go in and find the terrorists"...News Flash!! You don't go into a sovereign nation for any reason and it not be an invasion. It is an act of war.

What is wrong with NOT using nuclear weapons? You do realize that by using them, it is the beginning of the end? You set a precedence that it's OK to nuke someone..you find yourself nuked really fast. Also..he didn't say he would invade Pakistan..he said he would target Al Qaeda within Pakistan..

Obama is NOT an idiot!

Look at his history and what he has done with his life. Clearly he would have an impact on almost any endeavor he would pursue with his life. Can most others say the same?

Is he inexperienced? Yes.

Is it showing in his answers? Yes.

I still feel that he has the potential for sound judgement, which is the most critical componet for this job, and will be a fine president one day.

get a grip grips he never said he would invade pakistan he said "if we have actionable intelligence and Pakistan does not take action we will." Why is it that no one mentions his other ideas for terrorism like 5B for international intelligence or monetary aid for secular schools to fight extremist ideaology. Read his speech and you will see how the media and our questioner grips cherry picks that one issue. He said he wouldnt use nukes to fight terrorism.

Hmmm at least he is suggesting something. Are we going to just sit here and let them plot attacks against us in Pakistan or we could just keep pretending they're in Iraq, yeah, let's do that!

Its impossible to explain to people with little or no comprehensive skills the English language, so to answer, you have it wrong. Go to school learn how to comprehend whats being said and people will have more respect for you as a human being.

He said he would seek out terrorists in that particular region(IF Pakistan refused to),I don't believe he said he would attack Pakistan,or anyone else, with nuclear weapons.People have a tendency to hear what they want to,it would seem....
