It is okay to disagree with the president but people go too far with it.

I do think people take it to far. I was amazed, I saw a Kill Bush t-shirt the other day. What other country could we live in where someone could wear that shirt?

Bush has made mistakes and I strongly disagree with him on some issues, but all together, he has done a decent job.

I believe people should debate what a President is doing, and should be allowed to disagree with the policies he is recommending. I do not believe people should disrepectful towards the man or the office. It is ok to disagree but not to attack.

Who among us would claim to know more about the issue than one of the greatest presidents in US History?

"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

I've been steamin mad all day over the libs recent bull . Blaming the President for the bridge collapse !!
Factually incorrect . And lacking in even the most basic understanding of how the federal and state governments work . Incredibly inaccurate .
Not only do the libs on here do it all day today , but also liberal websites. . . of course fomenting more useless hatred .
But to make matters worse. . . I've watched 3 debates between last night and today about how the liberals are blaming him for this . Yep , the liberal propagandists were on TV today arguing that it's quite alright to blame the President . Look for more info on this tonight and this weekend .
They'll also argue your statement 'one nation under God' .
This has gone far enough . I called them on this today and I think it's high-time we all call them on this bull . They will destroy our country with their hatred and this American isn't gonna sit idly by !!

You are right. Just because he attacked the wrong country which has resulted in over 3500 American deaths along with a couple hundred thousand Iraqi citizens is no reason to talk bad about him. And simply allowing corporations to pollute our earth is no reason to criticize him. Nor is turning the largest budget surplus into the largest budget deficit so that our children will be overwhelmed with the debt. And the fact that he has divided this nation more than any other president should be overlooked. Yeah....what a super president he is!

It is the Presidency you should have respect for not the thing that's now ruining the White House.

Besides for years people have been made fun of President's included why should bush or dick be any different.
Are they commies or somethings, freedom of speach and the right to your opinion is good enough for me.

Look at all the stars that get no peace because of the tabloids and poparazi, bush has it better then they do.

One nation under God is a reference to the thirteen colonies becoming one country. It doesn't have anything to do with criticizing the president.
It is completely accepted and expected in a democracy that people should criticize the actions of elected officials.
People criticize this president a great deal because he lied to the American public about his reasons for getting us into a war in which thousands of people have died.
What I think you are objecting to is the criticism of his intelligence. I think that you would have to agree that it is pretty scary when the most powerful person on the planet is as dumb as a box of rocks. The thing that shocks me is that many of the people who voted for him for president - twice, are now jumping on that band wagon. It has always been obvious that he was this stupid. I think they should be apologizing to the rest of the voters for voting for him.

It's too easy to bash this 'president.'

He's a dipstick puppet.
He also allows the theft of our Treasury, the destruction of our environment, and a continued dismantling of our Constitution.

Besides, see the First Amendment.

First, no it's not one nation under God -- because not everyone in the country agrees that God exists, or that there is one God, or that they all follow the same God.

The only people who think this is a "nation under God" are the ones who ignore the basic religious freedoms that this country was founded on and try to force their personal religion down everyone else's throats.

Second, it's necessary for Americans to bash Bush when he betrays his oath of office, and attempts to destroy the constitutional framework that this country was founded up. It's necessary to oppose anyone who claims absolute and unchecked power to ignore any laws that he doesn't like.

Absolutely yes they do, it seems to me that everything is fine until someone gets a bug in their nose and all of a sudden the bashing and name calling comes out of the wood work.

Everything is his fault, he can't do anything right, he is killing innocent people, you name it, it is all his fault, as if he runs this Country alone. What about everyone else who has a say in things, what about all his advisers?

People seem to think they know what to do that would make everything better, but you know what? They are not sitting in the hot seat, and everything looks better on the outside looking in.

I believe in standing behind and supporting our Country and our President, I don't have to agree, but I should as a good American support him.

I don't think there's a problem with it at all, especially when he's doing a horrible job (and I'm not specifically talking about Bush). Sure being the president of the US isn't an easy job, buut if whoever it is is making horrible decisions, they need to know that America is paying attention and not just turning a blind eye to all of their decisions. If we just ignored everything the pres. did and followed without question or dispute, we'd be Korea. (haha)
