Greed and Corruption is as old as the oldest profession, prostitution. Face it, Washington is full of paid Whores.

No. Just do their job and repair federally controlled bridges and waterways, and maintain our property with preventive care all the time.

We do not need allocations as stipulations to pass Bills in congress, earmarks are trade-offs to get something from the cash-drawer that belongs to the people, and you never hear what those trade-offs are.

(Ex: A friend help you raise $100,000 for your campaign which got you elected, so you owe him a favor, he has since helped you secure your position in the congress for two elections, he wants to build a restaurant and a library in the center of town - the library benefits the city, the restaurant benefits him, and you want to keep him in your back pocket for the next decade or next six years in the least:

So the way you give him the $5,000,000 to spend $1,000,000 on the library and to give him $4,000,000 to build his new restaurant is to put it in the Bill for Hillary's Healthcare, as an incentive to assure her that you will vote for her 'Healthcare Plan', and she allows you to take the money and run.

Who will know about it? Not us, we are not informed of anything but the Healthcare Program and are told these billions of dollars will insure our families a real medical program that will work, though it won't.

You just ripped off $4,000,000 for your friend, he kicks you back 10% in cash, and the city gets a cheesy little library that they think you fought tooth and nail for, you get their votes and no one ever ask you about the money.)

Amazing that after all these years we hear about earmarks, finally someone has started monitoring them, and we still don't get the full truth, just bits and pieces. The next time you think about being broke, ask your congressman or senator for a million dollars, see how far you get. Not far and it is your money, they are spending our taxes or stealing it.

Earmarks! Ask the President or the V. President to tell you what corruption they partake in each day. Ask Hillary, ask Bill Clinton too, ask Reagan or someone who was close to him, ask Ted Kennedy what he has done as well, ask every darn one of them. No one will tell you the truth, they are living too high, and you will remain the sheep that you are for their eternity, so they have nothing to worry about, even knowing this. You have your favorites, don't you? And that is the ticket. God Bless You.

Earmarks are specific allocations of funds to specific projects -- as opposed to allocating funds generally to some agency and telling them to use the money however they want.

If you allocate funds specifically to repair bridges -- that IS an earmark.
