Our constitution has been molded by lobbyists for over a hundred years. Now we have a defacto government when it comes to regulating our government and our rights versus the conglomerates. Our government is out of control. It is up to us the people to be like Gandhi and stop giving money to big conglomerates like GE 10,000 companies strong. Instead we need to form co-ops where we spend money on things like solar and beyond. Once we control the energy it will be like Gandhi and the salt.

No, the 9th says nothing about citizen review.

"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."

It just says that the rights listed explicitly are not the only rights people have. It's the constitutional source for many of the "fundamental rights" that are protected, even though they are not listed explicitly in the text of the constitution.

Nothing in the Constitution grants explicitly authority to review govt actions for constitutionality. The Supreme Court claimed such powers as part of the judicial branch authority in the 1700s. See Marbury v. Madison.

That's the way I see it. The 9th doesn't say that explicitly but you would gather an investigation would be forthcoming according to "other" rights and violations of the same. It certainly includes "disparage"
Isn't the government in general supposed to be a servant of the people? ALL PEOPLE? Doesn't this include the poor and needy as well as those with mall malady who haunt these bizarre bazaars multiple times each week? Couldn't a portion of that being spent frivolously be directed toward healthcare for children and the needy.
How have we acquired this mindset of greed to where we can't think of others and contribute with open hearts to help those less fortunate.
Government indeed needs to be challenged by the people, examined by the people, judged by the people, and if necessary changed by the people.

We do have a citzens national review board.
