eg. 1. Canada thrives because they are close to the American border. 2. America protects Canada. 3. Jimmy Carter is responsible for Iran fundamentalism, hostage crisis, double digit inflation (btw a lot of that was inhertited from Ford)...4. Reagan was a great President and responsible for the fall of Communism. (that's a good one...please back it up!)5. America won World War II. 5. The surge is working. (huh) Instead of pulling dopey answers out of your b*tts can you back them up?

does it really matter what ethnicity politicians are? Obama may be black, but what does that matter to me. I will only look at his platform, not his skin color. I see alot of people talking about him being black this and that. And i hear things on tv like "Are we ready for a black President?" What? is there something i'm missing? what does the skin color of a person have to do with how they are going to run a country?

Do you support our troops that suffer at the hands of war but are neglected by the very government that sent them over there?

Read this article to discover what I'm talking about. Then tell me how we're winning this war on terror.

Isn't it more important to put dollars into the pockets of ordinary Americans than to spend money on boring, left-wing causes like bridge maintenance? Aren't we all better off having more money to spend to stimulate the economy? Even those who died in the Minnesotag bridge collapse have done their part to stimulate the economy by providing employment for rescue workers and undertakers. Isn't that what America's all about?

Wednesday he ask me to come with him to IHOP at 12:00am on Thursday.I tried to refuse but he insists. The next day, I tried to refuse, but still...,He came to my house at 11:30pm. I was complaining because its so late but still he insist or else. So we rode our ""Bike"" in the path where its shorter but darker (less light post).I was biking really slowly since my tire has no air.We were going along the way and when I looked left I saw a white car, slowing down in our opposite direction and then drove away. We continued biking and then the white car came along our direction and called my friend.I just continued going, assuming that they'r his friends, there were 2 of them in the car. They ask "Yo you got 5 bux? I need some for the gas". I was already few meters away. And he opened his wallet to take $5, and they took his wallet, assuming they have a weapon, then they left.We rushed home to cancel his debit card.I didnt see anything at all he told me.So whose fault?Am I to blame?

How many of you would take off a days work to help assist an immigrant or go over to their place and practice English with them so they can learn faster? Any takers or you guys just love to double standard immigrants...

Democrats had been trying since 2004 to get Bush & Republican controlled congress to pass a Homeland Security Bill that was recommended by "The 9-11 Commission" to protect America from terrorists. Republicans & Dubya kept avoiding it for 3 years.

Now the Democratic controlled Senate has passed that bill and the Democrats will do the same in the House as well and force Dubya to sign it.

What are your thoughts?

I think he is the more qualified democrat to run for president than Barack or CLinton. Maybe a Edwards/Richardson ticket. But, Barack and Clinton get all the publicity for some reason. They arent even that good. Barack stands out for being black and Hilary for being a woman, but that doesnt make them the best candidates for president.

If you are paying a premium to Aetna, United Health, BCBS, Cigna, Kaiser ect... you are paying into a pooled healthcare system. Yes, you are buying into 'socialized' medicine. YOUR MONEY IS GOING TO PAY FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S HEALTH CARE BILLS! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!? The only difference between what you are paying for now and Universal Health Care, is the money would be administered by the Government instead of a for-profit industry. Oh, and you also wouldn't be paying for stuff like marketing, commissions and CEO golden parachutes. Oh.. and government health care would let you chose ANY doctor, not just those that are 'in network'. Wow. Sounds like a horrible deal.

It is likly that a Democrat could occupy the White House after the 08 election. All the power moves, executive signing orders, operating above and outside the law that Bush has used with impunity will be in the hands of the Democrats if they choose! If this was to happen, the Republicans would screaming bloody murder! and they should!

Do you now see the current problem? Its harfull to the nation both ways

Ok, my cousin just moved to Indiana from Ohio. She went to get her Indiana license today and the BMV refused to issue her an ID or Driver's License because the last name on her Social Security Card is A****, and the last name on her birth certficate and her Ohio Driver's License is W******.
Her parents were not married at the time of her birth, so her mother used her maiden name, W******.
However, when her parents applied for her Social Security Card they used her father's last name A****, and that was the name the Social Security Administration issued the card under.
So she went to the Social Security Administration today with all her identification papers, her birth certficate, her Ohio Driver's License and her Social Security Card. They tell her that her legal name is the one on her Social Security Card, and their computer shows that it was legally changed to A**** in 1989, but do not have hard copies oh the court paperwork. They give her an official legal affadavit, stating

I have worked for six months with an organization providing services to a target population. I worked as a program analyst and was doing work to devise better means of implementing the program. In addition, I have experience in writing grants and personnel management, and wanted to try to expand the organization to a different service area, so I contacted the primary service delivery agent in that area to tell them that I was interested in going through the process of setting up the nonprofit. A few days later, I got a call asking if I gave out proprietary information (which I didn't, because everything I mentioned in the e-mail was all ready known to everyone of importance in that service area). Clearly, I said no, because I hadn't, but I was fired a few afterward because I had "lied" about it. I pointed out that there was no proprietary information in what I had released, and was slammed by the HR person because that was a "technicality". I screwed up, but what can I do?
