If Mexicans, Cubans and such love their country so much why do they sneak into the U.S.?

Explain why I see things like Viva Mexico? If they are for Mexico then why live here? Their culture and celebrating a country you ran away from seems like two very different things.

This is an invasion. Mexican officials have already said they are invading the U.S., and President Fox said the U.S. needs to tear down all border walls.
Mexico even threatens to take the new border wall issue to the U.N.. They don't want it built.
The people in Mexico are wealthier than the people in Eastern Europe. Also, the Pew Hispanic Center said that undocumented workers had jobs in Mexico. There is no reason for them to come here.

Some illegals, like most other legal immigrants, come to this country because of the way their country is, not their culture. Most countries down below are very corrupt and the people are at the whim of whoever is in power...don't believe me? Go live down there and try to do the stuff you do here, you won't get away with it. Most people who come to this country accept the American culture and at the same time keep their own. You just can't ask them to get rid of it, it's impossible. My mother still remembers where she comes from and loves it there (the culture), but she also understands that this is her country now and knows that she has to support it 100%.

I think that they are having a hard time realizing that their own country doesn't want them and neither do we! They are , therefore, trying to make it look like they are only here for a better life! All the freebies that the USA will give 'em. I'm for a free ride home and secure our borders and deport the "entitled" now!

meh. okay, their countries are economically unstable. They come here to make money, more money than in their countries. And they want to live here cuz its better here to raise a family. Freedom, rights, better education!! As for Mexicans (i'm mex.), they DO love their country, cuz its their culture; they have customs and traditions that they are not going to let go of! i'm sure theres alot of Irish-Americans here that still keep their Irish customs and traditions, for example.

People love their homes and remember them fondly.But as the old saying goes..You can't go home again.Meaning we all have fond MEMORIES but the reality is why you left and you can't return to that place in time when it was the best.

I feel the same way, I'm sick of seeing all these Mexicans with their Flags hanging in their cars and outside of their houses. They now live in America and they should not be allowed to have that crap all over. NOt to mention half of them don't even try to learn our language but boy they sure no how to milk the money for welfare, and free insurance.
