my mother started the mess in hopes of gaining my daughter. the courts placed my then 6yr old w/ex until i went through parenting class. (my mother never agreed with my parenting) thats what started the mess. my daughter loves her father and wants to visit him often, she wants me to be the custdial parent so she has options on visits. we live 8 min away from each other and hates that her dad controls visits and doesnt follow the court guidlines. she is going on 12.what can i do?

A bit over a year ago I got a ticket for which I went to court and pleaded reckless driving in order not to get points on my license. I paid the higher fine and thought that was it.

Now I am getting charged an insurance surcharge which shows those points! (I got 2 other traffic tickets since).
How do I get the points removed?

We are not leaving anytime soon.

It would appear that U.S. Forces are building bases in Iraq, and settling in for a long stay.

Even an anti-war democrat in the White House will not withdraw U.S. troops. They will realize that this would cause a catastrophe in the region.

U.S. troops will still be in Iraq 10 years from now.

bend over backwards to meet every need they have,why does the government have meet every persons expectation no matter how ridiculous or petty?what ever happened to doin for yourself?i always thought all the government had to do for me is when i pay my taxes i get fires put out,cops keep my streets safe,they plow my street when it snows,offer public schooling.since when are they supposed to pay for abortions,give free health care,pay people not to work?when did personal responsibility stop being stressed?is it me or was it the damn dirty hippies that screwed this up?

I thought democrats liked people and cared about others. They seem to hate me though, they are all about ending the war and this and that, but if the war ends I won't make enough money to build my second mansion. Also why don't they fall believe the "terrorist will follow us home" line? just because nothing we've predicted so far has been right, that means we're due! It's a fact democrats Hate america

i have a friend, who i know is intelligent, but ever since i learned that he believes any of this nonsense (and he believes it all) i find myself questioning his intelligence and overall opinion....its one thing to be a democrat, everybody has opinions, it makes for good conversation but these theories are sooooooooooo stupid i mean seriously, you could beat me in the head with a hammer for a few hours and i would still know that it was nonsense

In 2008, Americans from coast to coast and from all 50 states will be going to the polls to select a new President of the United States of America to replace George W. Bush. Every Presidential Election, they say that it is the most important Presidental Election and I agree with that in 2008 because America will be electing the 44th President of the United States of America.

In your opinion, do you beleive it is important for a young adult to vote for President of the United States of America if they have not interest in politics? Why or why not?

Lib this...dem that...conservative this...republican that....

Now, I am not saying that those groups of people don't exist, they do, but what I have a problem with are people on here that automatically label someone based on ONE answer.

I have been accused of being a lib, a conservative, a democrat and a republican...and I am not any of those.

Why do people categorize others on here based on only one view or one answer that they have given?

I have read some responses here that think that if we leave Iraq, that AMERICA will live under Sharia law. Mind you, congress would have to approve this...are you someone who believes that western culture as we know it will crumble if we leave Iraq?
