Like,we have the WAR on poverty,we have the WAR on drugs....we have the WAR on...on n on n on!

As a side note,Why are we stilll in Iraq, years after the fall of saddam?Every day we are there, more of our stuff becomes un-usable(Humvees,tanks,apcs,etc..)

In the long run,if we get into another war in the next decade,we are gonna need to just use main battle tanks(abrams are very durable.....

Can you trust them to fight the enemy of the U.S.A. You can not win a War if you refuse to fight and the Leaders of the Democrat Party has proven over and over again that they just have no fight in them unless its a fight against the U.S.A.!!

I personally really like Obama and hope he wins the election, but ofcourse because hes "black" and "too young", he wont win.

Its a big shame how some people automatically decide to go against someone because hes too young and not "experienced enough"

You have to remember Obama is against the War in Iraq (500$ bil that could've been used elsewhere) to start with and now just said if elected he'll take the fight into pakistan (bin laden & co will never get caught/killed until we do so)

I personally think hes the best fit for our next president. But i've gotten alot of negativity from other users on here. I would like to know why?

thanks all

Do you think this would be at all effective?

Take some of the billions of dollars that are being dumped into the war on drugs, and start drug testing welfare recipients. If they fail, they get no money and in order to receive money they would have to go through rehab, and pass the test. Kills two birds with one stone. Cuts down on drug usage, and think of all the junkies on welfare that would be kicked off.

People say things like "the last ice age ended without people" and think that is proof that man cannot affect his environment. That just means global climate changes can occur without man, it doesn't prove that man cannot do it. It's like saying My great grandfather died of a heart attack so no person can ever kill another person. I'm not saying global warming is man made, though I believe there is some good evidence for it, I am saying this argument doesn't make sense.

the most police brutality, judicial corruption, confiscation of private property. N.Y.C is ticket crazy (long before Bloomberg) You cant even have a beer in the park without a cop sniffing over your shoulder and you cant drive far without running into a toll.

If you dig up antiquities on private property (that you own) in the United States, who owns them? In Italy, the state does automatically. That seems wholly unfair to landowners. I'm thinking about ownership of ancient Indian artifacts, burial grounds, battlefield artifacts, and fossils. I know the federal government owns that which is found on public lands, which makes sense. I'm talking about private lands.
