Take your prescription with you. They are testing for illegal drug use. Your usage is legal as you have a prescription, assuming you are taking it as prescribed.

Tell your recruiters and MEPS about any illegal drug use that you've used in the past. Marijuana and other certain illegal drug use can be waived in the military. You just have to be honest with them at MEPS. They've seen it all and heard it all before. So you're not going to surprise them if you tell them you did marijuana. You'll take two drug tests. First test when you go to MEPS for the first time and second test on the first day when you arrive in recruit training. Others here telling you how to fake the DOD drug test, it doesn't work. They don't know what they're talking about. Many recruits I've seen in Marine bootcamp who did not tell their recruiters and the Marines at MEPS that they used drugs were kicked out of the military for good. They had several chances when they could have fessed up. Their recruiters, MEPS, and the "Moment of Truth" class when they first arrived in bootcamp. If you fail the drug test, you will not be able to re-enlist in the miltiary ever again. If you tell them beforehand at MEPS, you won't get in trouble and the service branch you're enlisting in at MEPS and your recruiters will help you get a waiver. But if you fail the drug test while you're in recruit training and you did not tell them about your recent marijuana use, you're gone for good from the military. The military has zero-tolerance on illegal drug use. Just be honest and make the right decision. Good luck.

Just let them know what your taking and bring the bottle with you as well. As long it's prescription you shouldn't have too much of a problem. If you lie it will show through the urine so don't lie or you will be disqualified

Just tell them that you are taking it and what it's for. It shouldn't be a big deal if they know from the beginning to look for prescription drugs in the sample. Now if you don't tell them, the oxydone causes a false positive, and then you tell them about it, that will be a problem.

No. At the time of the test, bring your meds with you to show what they are and that they are by prescription.
No worries.

You will need to have the prescription in hand along with the bottle. Then you should be okay.

It won't if you are honest and let them know exactly what you are taking. Take your prescription bottle with you to be safe.

If you're already in, no. Just bring the prescription bottle with you.

I can call hubby - he administrates those tests.

(he's not answering right now though).
