Personally I support it because if you look to the middle east you can see that theocracies do not work and are riddled with sectarian violence.

Please, no rambling about how it's not in the constitution, I don't care, I'm not asking about the legality, I'm asking about the spirit.

I just want to know how you feel about the spirit of separation of church and state and why.

Or is there any correlation at all? Does it matter to you in deciding your views on abortion?

Please don't try to guess my views. I'm trying to find out what others think. Thanks.

My brother hit a lady. It was a minor accident as he had applied sudden brake. In consequence of this he had to appear before the court and he pleaded "guilty" and was let off with a fine of 200/-. Now she has filed for compensation. We have the third party insurance. The owner of the vehicle is my sister in law (his wife). Will it pose any difficulty to us as the driver and owner is not the same ? Can the insurance company evade their responsibility because of this reason? Is it necessary that we should refund to the insurance company any compensation paid to them?

I am especially looking for things were he and his administration were accused or suspected of doing something, and they denied it, denied it, even ridiculed the suspects as Bush haters...but come to find out 6 months later, 1 year later, 2 years later, etc...bits of info start to dribble in and eventually facts are that those suspicions were right on.....and that in effect we were being lied to or bamboozled or kept in the dark? Please your favorite such instances.

we indian often take pride of our 5000 years of glorious past but become equally emotional to celebrate 15 aug as our indepence day each year since 1947. what we are trying to highlight ? that we were never independent prior to 15 aug 1947? we were slaves with a glorious past. that's funny. No self respecting nation shoul behave in this way. skip the celebration this year. at l;east 60 % of the money will not go to the wrong hands besides reminding queen of victoria of her glorious past at our cost.

Mussharaaf had a cease fire with the local border mullahs to keep them from attempting a coupe. Now that this has ended Pakistan troops almost apprehended an Al-Quaeda leader before blowing himself up.(poor thing). This terrorist was also once a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay but was released due to liberal whining and the media's tear down headlines.

of what LIARS like Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Meyers et. al. say in Congressional hearings and speeches?

For instance today Rumsfeld and Myers told Congress "we don't remember when we learned of Pat Tillman's fratricide"...meaning they remember exactly when they gave the order to Execute Tillman.

Rumsfeld also said "I've always impressed upon Pentagon underlings the importance of telling the truth"...meaning "I always told the Pentagon to conceal the truth at all costs".

When you apply this calculus to everything these criminals have said over the years you get much closer to the TRUTH and the world makes much more sense...IF you cherish living in REALITY.

to me,it seems like an impossibility, like some law of nature that like gravity that we have to just accept.

The real question I really want to know is also, if our policy did change, and we became "less joined at the hip", such as not longer giving 14 million dollars a day in military aid, for example, what would it take to make such a phenomena happen?

My friend needs a divorce. Her husband moved back to Brazil permanently. She couldn't locate his whereabouts in Brazil. Is divorce possible without him legally present in the U.S. Both of them are immigrant american citizens.

What is the process, what does she need to do to get started without spending too much money.

If it was only a small cover-up, he would let some people testify. It must be quite the scandal to need to deny all of those subpoenas like he is. I guess they really did break the law firing those attorneys.

And before you embarrass yourself, yes we all know that Clinton fired 93 of them. That way he fired all of them, and could not be blamed for firing only the ones that prosecuted corrupt politicians. If you cannot tell the difference, please, just don't embarrass yourself here, ok?

I am very leery of government control - I think the bureaucracy would waste dollars, and I'm extremely troubled by the idea of the government having so much control. I'd rather have my HMO cheat me than the government - at least there is one more than one HMO to belong to.

But people who advocate government-run health care have a right to ask what the alternative is.

I have a few ideas.

1) Make employer-supplied health insurance taxable income to the recipient, BUT offset the extra income with a credit for insurance. This would put people in charge of their own health care and keep them more in touch with what it costs. And the self-employed have to pay for insurance with after-tax dollars, which is unfair. Maybe employers would get out of this business somewhat.

2) Allow insurance companies more latitude to compete in a number of states. Increased competition should help some. Also encourage associations of private individuals to band together to buy insurance.

Why does he presume attacking a country like Pakistan will be the same as attacking countrys like Afghanistan and Iraq??

You can see by just typing into you-tube, "pakistani millitary" how patriotic these Pakistani's are. The Pakistani army will not just stand back and take such an assault. They will prob attack the country back. This could possibly be catastrohic!
People seem to be forgetting that they too want rid of terrorism, it's in their own benefit to get rid. They are a key ally in the war on terror. The western median did not sjhow the protests by tens of thousand. if not hundreds of thousands against the Lal masjid going ons.

They want peace too. But another war on their soil probably won't be taken too lightly.
