Should we invade the border region of Pakistan/Afghanistan now that the cease fire is off with the militants?

Mussharaaf had a cease fire with the local border mullahs to keep them from attempting a coupe. Now that this has ended Pakistan troops almost apprehended an Al-Quaeda leader before blowing himself up.(poor thing). This terrorist was also once a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay but was released due to liberal whining and the media's tear down headlines.

Absolutely. We should plant special forces teams deep within the border region and use their recon to snuff out the militants.

Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to carry out this kind of task since we are so overextended in Iraq. Iraq has become quite the money pit and all of the joint chiefs' original estimates for the cost of the war have been completely shattered.

It's going to take "years, not months" to get out of Iraq, and by that time, Bin Laden will be stronger than ever.
