Or is there any correlation at all? Does it matter to you in deciding your views on abortion?

Please don't try to guess my views. I'm trying to find out what others think. Thanks.

I don't know, but it doesn't matter to me at all. My views about abortion are not based on how it can be used (or not) as birth control. It has to do with a woman's domain over her own body and what that body should be used for.

Well, kind of by definition --- the availability of legalized abortions means fewer births occur.

And statistically, many abortions are by underage and/or unmarried women. So, allowing abortions does seem to significantly reduce unwed-mother births.

And no, it has no effect on my position, because my position on the issue has nothing to do with whether abortion is good or not. I oppose the govt making ANY choice about such personal issues, and believe that such choices should always be personal. I oppose govt-mandated abortions in the same way I oppose govt-mandated births. That's why being pro-choice has nothing to do with abortion. It's just about WHO gets to make the decision.

neither. there are more out-of-wedlock births today then there were years ago, but that is because its become more acceptable to have kids out of wedlock nowadays. so abortion doesn't cause more out of wedlock births. however, i will say that there a probably more abortions now then there was a while back to prevent out-of-wedlock births.

I think that human life begins at conception. Thats the only thing that matters to me when deciding that abortion is murder. Just as if someone kills a pregnant woman and they are charged with double murder.

Does the availability of legal dental services result in more or less tooth decay?
