station, your reply:
i could go on ad nausium giving examples of this. your 2nd amandment rights? Ha!!!! in the UK, the police don't even carry guns!

my reply:
The USA has a US Constitution and Bill of Rights that was established to protect our sovereign nation from our enemies both here and abroad.

We are not the UK and don't want our elected officials creating the same open border problems that the UK is experiencing. It is a shame you just told the world that the UK citizens are sitting ducks when terrorists enter their country and the citizens can no longer defend themselves.

No thank you. I rather like the protection our US laws provide us with. The right to bear arms. Try reading the 2nd Amendment sometime - it might work in the UK too if they offered the same right to their citizens.

You have all given such great answers - adding to my list the North American Union, terrorist activities through imported goods, elected officials selling us out and betraying the US citizens, no government leadership to protect our citizens from terrorist threats in our own country, etc.

I have to say that imports are a very large threat - especially now with all of the poisons in our children's toys, medicine, personal care products, pet food, people food. Should we even continue trading with a country who is intentionally sending poisons to our country? Maybe the trade agreement should be reviewed? Thanks to our recent presidents, our country relies upon imports.

So adding to the list, exporting jobs to foreign soil is another threat that I should have listed as well. Let's bring America's jobs home where they belong and where we can monitor what is allowed.

Let's find out also why the FDA is not doing their job and trying to take away our rights.

6. All of the above.. and then some...

Would like to add North American Union to that list..

You know...the agreement bush made with canada and mexico in 2005, that unifies the three countries into one governing power, one monitary system, etc. You know.. The one that destroys the soverignty of our nation? Bush is making another trip to canada to work some of this all out some more. It is expected that most of the plans will be implemented beginning in 2010...

AND THE DEMOCRATS ARE WITH THE REPUBLICANS ON THIS... AND ARE NOT TRYING TO STOP IT!!!

Ron Paul is the only canidate that has the dedication to the soverignty of our country, to ensure our constitution is upheld...

5) being an "alien" (ie. not being from Planet USA), i think that the biggest threat to the USA is the on going propaganda fed to it's citizens via the government and the media that the USA is the "greatest country in the world". i could go on ad nausium giving examples of this. your 2nd amandment rights? Ha!!!! in the UK, the police don't even carry guns!
the biggest threat to the USA is it's uncanny ability to make enemies, by looking down on and under estimating every other country in the world, you would be amazed how many US embassies around the world issue travel advisories to it's citizens to not advertize the fact that they are american, to avoid being targeted by terrorists, political fundamentalists or any who has had a few too many drinks and is looking for a fight....

The worst security threat we face is the unmonitored import of cargo containers. Millions of these boxes come into the country uninspected every day. How hard would it be to put nuclear material surrounded by lead into one of these containers? How about biologicals that are virtually undetectable without laboratory analysis?

While we're all worried about Mexicans crossing the border to mow lawns and pick lettuce, we're not even worried about the terrorists who are already here.

What would have happened in the Ft. Dix bombing case if the terrorists (who couldn't shoot straight) had had nuclear material to wrap around a few cans of smokeless powder stuffed into pipes? How about the New York group and a few viles of ebola virus?

These scenarios have already played out in the pages of Tom Clancy and Stephen Coonts novels. Tom Clancy already wrote the script for 9/11 in one of his books (where was that plane that crashed in Pennsylvania headed?). Do we think that terrorists don't read?

Unless we are willing to "pop the top" on every container coming into this country, the threat is real and it's almost certain to become a reality.

And guess where the manpower to do all this work is? .......
Anyone.......Buehler.....?

I think the worst threat comes from Muslim extremist already in the country. Soft targets such as convention centers, concerts, and ballgames are subject to attack via unchecked trucks ect. to these venues.

How about the fact that this country is in short supply of real leadership from any side. Best to rely on Jesus.

The lock on my front door is busted. Sometimes as I'm falling asleep I think I hear the door opening. Usually its just my imagination. Anyway, that's the biggest security issue that keeps me awake at night.
