...even though the poor kid apologized to him immediately & agreed to clean up the mess.

Was it correct of my neighbor to treat his son like that?

Ok so i have a 4yr old son (born in minnesota) that has my last name and his fathers last name (Marc Schneider Anders). Well, i would like to change my name legally and also his to something completley different since i'm applying for my US citizenship i do have the opinion to legally change my name. So his new name would be Marc Scott. Now my question is, with his father not living in the same state as my son and i ( we live in missouri and he lives in south dakota) could i go ahead and just change my sons name or would i have to get a approval from his father!? His dad and i have never been married or gone to court regarding custody or anything like that. I lived in minnesota with his dad and then moved away when my son was 1yr old and we've been in missouri ever since and i really want to change my and his last name. What would the legal procedures be for that?! Can i do something like that without his father?!

It seems to me that as of yet our leaders have not been able to come up with a solution to the immigration problems we face with illegal mexican immegrants. There have been many arguments that are pro and anti legalization.

Here is my opinion. We have all heard the reasons that the immegrants come to the U.S. from Mexico, and a majority of it has to do with a more prosperous life for themselves and family. They have also been proven to be a very important part of our workforce.

And I have heard arguments against the legalization of the immegrants stating the fact that they will be further straining our resources and job market, not to mention our social services.

Can we not make plans to Annex the country of Mexico and make it's citizens U.S. citizens? By doing this Mexicans will benefit from our laws, social services, monatary value, health care, and jobs. We as americans will benefit from new sources of natural resources, lands and so much more.

I am a Republican, and I say no, despite the fact that I like Arnold. I think it opens up a kettle of worms that we do not need to open.

What do you feel we should do in the war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq?
1.Keep fighting until we are victorious in crushing the enemy and stabilizing the new governments.
2.Admit our defeat to an unbeatatble enemy and pull our troops out now.

If you do then why is she wanting to subsidize farmers that make a million dollars a year? The president wants to cut it back to 200,000 which is too much I think. I know her and others keep saying they are for the poor and middle class but they keep raising taxes and that hurts them too. Please tell us why you believe what they say compared to what they do.
Would like to hear some honest comments instead of smart remarks about this.

I just got a PRC-25 radio that was used in Vietnam. I have been watching a couple of Vietnam War and in most of them, the PRC-25 radio handset has some kind of material rapped around it (probably to keep water out). Does anyone know what thay material is and wear I can get it?

P.S. I mostly saw this in the film Platoon (1986). Many of the RTO's like Tony Hoyt and Cpt. Harris's RTO have this material wraped around their handset.

-thank u

I already have 69 by next semester, (Associates Degree).

How many would I have during my time in the Air Force, not counting classes I would take.

What I mean is credits for boot camp or anything of that sort.

My recruiter has 57 or so, and he never took a single class in college.

The reason I am asking is because I want get a degree in order to be in line for the officer program.

Can I do this within the first 3 years or so?

The earth has had many changes before we got here from Ice ages to Dinosaurs and so on. Doesn't it seem like delusions of grandeur that we so insignificant and small part of the Earths history really can make a difference.

I'm sure you've heard of the Hispanic anti-immigration group called "you don't speak for me"
They came up with the name because they don't agree with the majority of Hispanics on this issue.

So that got me thinking. ........
Why don't all of you that want deportation or believe in the self -deportation theory.....why don't you start a group called , "You don't speak for me part 2"
or "America doesn't speak for us"

since 60% + Americans don't want that

nay sayers please refer to one of my previous questions

I have a friend that just brought a house, before this he was living in an appartment in Jacksonville, Fl. I know that he gave more then enough notice and left the appartment clean. He had some issues with the landlord, such as people messing with his boat, almost couldn't get repairs done and had to deal with loud neighbors. Now the landlord is not returning the deposit and telling him he owes another 700.00. The landlord did a walk through without my friend present. What should he do, and is it the tenant that is to clean the outside parking area, which he told me looks the same as all the rest. I don't know what to tell him, so if anyone can tell me, I will appreciate any answers. Thank You.
