If you were given the opportunity or some may believe thankless job, as a small business owner to respresent your state on a commitee and go to the White House to advise the President; would you do it?

I've got my mind. . . . Set on you
I've got my mind. . .. .Set on you
I've got my mind. . . . Set on you
I've got my mind. . . . Set on you

But it's gonna take mo-ney
A whole lot of spending mo-ney
It's gonna take plenty of mo-ney
To do it right child

It's gonna take tiiiime
A whole lot of precious time
It's gonna take patience and time .. . mmmmmmmmm
To do it To do it To do it To do it To do it
To do it right child

I've got my mind. . . . Set on You
I've got my mind. . . .Set on you
I've got my mind . . . . Set on you
I've got my mind. . . .. Set on you

And this time I know it's for real
These feelings that I feel
I know if I put my mind to it
I know I really can do it

I've got my mind. . . Set on you
(Set on you)
I've got my mind. . . Set on you

But it's gonna take mo-ney
A whole lotta spending mo-ney
It's gonna take plenty of mo-ney
To do it right child. . .. . . .. ...

Why would an American side with the enemy? Isn't that being a traitor?

For some reason it just don't get it.

1) They want to be "nice" to people that want the U.S. destroyed. They disagree with the fact that Democrat F.D.R. quickly executed enemy combatants during World War Two.

2) They support Mexico's undeclared invasion of the U.S.. (Mexico told the U.S. to tear down all border walls. Also, it helps its people come to America.)

3) They want insurgents to win in Iraq by having the U.S. cutting and running.

4) They think the wiretapping of foreigners in the U.S. should be illegal.

Bush knows EXACTLY what he's doing in Iraq.

Bush NEVER had ANY intention of ending this war quickly.

That was why he didn't send in as many troops as was reccomended, or sent many in poorly equipped.

You see it's about the military industrial complex, what former president Dwight D. Eisenhower warned America about. By prolonging the war Bush is feeding the MIC. If you run a corporation that makes military hardware, what better way to boost your profits through the roof than with an unending war?

I think Keith Olbermann described it the best way.

"Because if you sell the army a thousand humvess, you can't sell them anymore until the first thousand have been destroyed."

If things are improved, people expect "change course".
If things are worsen, people expect "change course" too.
If things stay the same, people still expect "change course".

If no matter what, Bush decides to maintain the surge level, then he doesn't need to wait till September. He just needs to remember the military is already stretched too thin and pretty soon his daughters need to go there too.

So why would September report ever be a turning point? Why wait till then? No logic behind that.

I'm sure a lot of people wonder. I was watching an interview last night with Michael Moore (don't ask what show because I've forgotten) and someone said something about being a "conservative Republican", as if you can be anything but a conservative Republican. I mean, is it possible to be a liberal Republican? Just wondering. I know what it means to be Republican and Democrat and even Moderate, but people nowadays saying they're conservative Democrats or liberal Republicans confuses me to be honest. What's the difference?

I have been trying for a week to talk to him about taking a settlement, but he wont. So just to get this off my credit, I asked him if I could come in and pay and he refuses to give me a total, saying there is interest and court costs. I do not feel I owe this because he didnt even do my case and I paid all my filing fees, but I am willing to pay it to clean my credit. Anyways, he is refusing to give me a call back or tell me the final $$ amount and I am at wits end with him. Can anyone advise me?

you be the judge ... "moral paralysis" is a term that was used to describe the inaction of France, England, et al in the 1930s as they watched idly while Hitler rearmed Germany and then started World War II.

[see Thomas Sowell's editorial of today at http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=270164338908710 for further details.]

Is America "morally paralyzed"??
