Is it “politics” that separates us, or is it a partisan thing?

Here is a descent hard working god fearing Christian that deserves your respect. This man served his country flying jets in the National Guard until his HONORABLE discharge. He earned a Harvard MBA! Kept us safe since 9/11, smoking hot economy with a very very very low 4.5% unemployment rate. Saddam dead.

Just an all around great guy who has brought Honor and Dignity back to the White House after those awful Clinton years.

You have to admit LIBS. It's kind of nice having a President who does not spend all his time in front of special prosecutors, Grand Juries and Impeachment Hearings! The kids in my class were embarrassed that the President Clinton disgraced the office like that. Now, they look at Bush with pride!

...Legislators clearly need compentency testing ! Citizens vote...The states/and FEDS collect taxes that are to preserve /protect the nation Yet our Congress refuses to ensure that votes are not compromised by failure to fund and enforce the simple requirement...Voters MUST be US citizens DUH..This is deceit and criminal fraud.
...Many states register "voters" based solely on utility stubs, local address, & maybe a DR liscense. Recently Texas was "embarrassed" to find that their prospective jurors were NOT US citizens..(seems the jury pool is taken from registered voter rolls)
...Why has there been NO demand ( or even noise) for a Federal data base that correlates birth/death records?States have had $ & time yet manyhave yet to complete record update(computer). In todays technological world, identifying a US citizen should be a few mouse clicks away. Yet every election, we joke about how many dead people vote ??
Government "by the people" or arrogant corrupt Congress?

I live on a cul-de-sac and i also live on the corner of that cul-de-sac so its very difficult for me to park especially when it comes to parallel. the neighbor to my right has two cars in front of it and the neighbor to my left usually has a car there so i virtually have no place to park because the space is limited. I have no choice but to park two houses down to my right so i can park. I had been parking in front of the house two doors away from me and they recently had taped a note on the window of my car telling me that i cannot park there.

I have been observing their parking area and no car has been parked there in over a week! Is there any law giving them the right to tell me where to park? If so, please send me some websites telling me this law full and full. I really need to some evidence to show to them that i can park wherever i please.

I am pro life for a few reasons. I do not support killing someone that is going to one day live a life like me. I wouldn't want someone to have done that to me.

Don't say that it's just an embryo, it is about what it will become.

Secondly, I believe that people need to live with their actions. I can't stand people who have abortion after abortion because they don't want to use birth control!

I know I am opening a can of worms, so fire away.

"omg, omg, they have called me a racist because I want our laws enforce"
-This is what anti-illegals say all the time. ok, most, not all.

I think it's not fair that anti-illegals accuse people of calling them racist only because they are against illegal immigration and want the laws enforced.

However, you and I know for a fact that that is not the case. People call anti-illegals racist because they (the ones who do it) have to come down to racism to argue a point on this issue.

No one is calling any anti-illegal a racist for what they stand for. Nevertheless, once they start ranting about Mexicans or Hispanics then the hate arises.

So for you anti-illegals, do you actually believe you are the target of being called a racist for what you stand for?? it's sad if you do, because that's not why people call you racist.
Hope I was clear, but I think I was clear with what I was trying to say. Thanks!

No one was in line when I found it on the floor.I put the bill in my pocket and walked out to my car all happy.Less than a minute later an elderly man asked me if I found any money in the bank as he misplaced some.I asked him how much money did you lose. He replied 100.00 I knew he was the rightfull owner.I reached into my pocket and gave him his money. All bummed out.Later I felt good about myself for doing the right thing.

What entitlements would I have had if I told him no.
Is this a case of finders keepers? Anyways I felt I did the right thing. Comments?? Thank you and sorry for such a long question>

It's either the media or liberals sabotaging Republican ideas. if it wasn't for the media and liberals, George Bush's presidency would have been a rousing success.

I got a big envelope in the mail yesterday. We've been separated for years, and all of a sudden I get notice from an attorny that my husband has filed for divorce.

It says if I do nothing the divorce will go through automatically. Somehow that didn't sound right. I thought both parties had to sign for a divorce to go through?

I've spent the last 5 years raising our daughter as a single parent with no financial help from him, and he's waited until she's 20 so I can't claim child support. I don't want alimony, but I would like him to pay the credit card debt I've racked up trying to pay for her education, so I can start over with a clean slate.

It says I have 30 days to respond, what's the next step?

ABC World News just announced that the U.S.A. plans to build an embassy in the most dangerous area of Beirut, Lebanan, where Hezbullah has total control. Which incompetent boob in our government made this foolish decision? Is there not one government servant that has nay degree of competency?
This has to be the most stupid idea since our government decided to build the world's largest embassy on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the idiotic Bush administration!! Shouldn't people that are elected to government positions, or employed by our government, at least have to have a modicum of common sense and basic intelligence? Or is government simply a warehouse for complete incompetence?? Someone should be held accountable for such abhorrent, reckless, irresponsible decisions. -RKO-

I just moved back from the Bahamas where you have to either:

1) marry a bahamian
2) have a gig
3) spend $500k in the country, usually on a residence

If you don't do either of these, you are basically ILLEGAL and able to sympathize more with immigrants as you deal with Immigration officials & all that treating you badly.

Or you can do what lots of expaites do, travel to Florida every few months and have your passport stamped for another few months when you arrive back on the island. It can be exhausting.

Do you think more people would "think twice" about moving to the US if our requirements for residency were stricter?
