Agreed. Arnold has been a bad governor. I was listening to Republican Tom McClintock on the radio the other day and he ripped Arnold a new one on everything from bond issues, running up debt, and being too socially liberal.
I was completely surprised and totally agreed with McClintock (who I probably wouldn't vote for).

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were not natural born Americans, yet both made good Presidents.
Arnold respects the law, and he has not started a campaign to amend the constitution to let him run for President. If he could he would probably run for office, but he can't and to change the law to allow him to do so would be too hard.
Still he can serve in other ways. The German born Kissinger helped to set American policy since the Cold War and he is still consulted today. He has been considered a great leader and a great source of political though and knowledge since the Vietnam War. His influence on American policy overseas is as strong as or stronger than that of any single President. His opinion is one reason why Bush wants to remain in Iraq. When the Democrats take office, a pretty safe bet, if Kissinger is still alive he will still have an effect on our Iraq policy, and mark my words the Democrats will not get us all the way out of Iraq. That won’t happen for at least another decade; if we make the mistake and do that then we will see the same thing as what happened in Vietnam, the enemy took over. In this case the enemy is Iran and the Taliban. We can’t afford to let that happen. The Democrats know this and will draw down our forces, they will try to disengage America from the war, but we will be involved in Iraq for a very long time.

I think Arnold's "desire" only does a dishonor to Arnold. If he respects our constitution he should not strive for the presidency. Desire and trying to obtain that desire are two different things. By the way all of our presidents were born on what now is United States soil, including Washington and Jefferson.

You obvious don't understand much about California first of all it was allready in debt before Arnold got in there, and since more then likely your a liberal you should welcome change, so I think we should remove the law, and I personally would vote for Arnold over Hillary or Obama anyday of the week. Because I think he will help this country out more then any of the presidential canidates running in the 2008 election. And I'm pretty sure you hate the idea that a republican is running California, I only wish we had him in are state on well.....:(

No, it's not a great dishonor, but it is more than a little presumptuous to think the Constitution should be changed for one man.
Seriously, I know the Reagan era is cherished in the collective memory of Republicans, but Arnie is not gauranteed to be the next Reagan just because they were both actors and CA governors.

The real dishonor are the political leaders who care more about making money instead of the American citizen.
If he's the best we've got, if he's the best of the bunch, let him have a go at it. The people will decide!
