I am taking no sides...Dems...Rep. Why can't they do their job and work for the people .....by the people and let the lobbyists suck hind tit? I guess in the capitalistic environment money talks. Hmmmm....might have answered the question. Thoughts?

Unfortunately, the end result of any capitalist republic must inevitably be "money talks". Still...I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I am always tired of political BS. I don't enjoy anyone's extreme views (but I don't stop them from voicing them) and I NEVER respond to questions that are blatantly rude, offensive, insulting, obviously loaded.
It only appears that many people have extreme political views because the ones that are really extreme are the ones broadcasting their views the loudest. Those people get in the way of *true* political discourse.

I was reading yahoo answer rules and regs so I will not say thanx for two points any more when I answer. When I get tired of some of the BS I go to jokes and riddles where I can answer jokes and riddles w LOL and LMAO.

Register Independent, vote people and issues and not party. Amazing how people on both sides complain about elected officials and then vote them back into office again and again. The two party system at its finest.

fully agree, but too many times, offices are filled with personal agendas and they hide the ear from the general public that choose them for the office...
It seems no amount of switching from one side to the other will get any message through, I am truly at a loss on this issue...

Your representatives are to represent you. If you don't let them know how they are free to do as they please. Make sure you are in contact with your reps. Tell them that you want legislation banning lobbying. I have done that I hope you do too.
