A friend of mine has a grandson who since the age of two has not wanted to live with his dad and his stepmom, his mother died when he was very young. My friend would like to know if her grandson has options, can he go live with his grandma or his uncle. Is there an age at which a child can choose to live in a better household?

Our politicians have sold our country down the river, and they continue to do so.. They all need to go.

for military adventures abroad, and for the suppression of civil liberties at home. It serves the same purpose, serving to create hysteria.
Behind the deceptive words designed to entice people into supporting violence -- words like democracy, freedom, self-defense, national security -- there is the reality of enormous wealth in the hands of a few, while billions of people in the world are hungry, sick, homeless. With the indiscriminate nature of modern military technology (no such thing as a "smart bomb," it turns out) all wars are wars against civilians, and are therefore inherently immoral. This is true even when a war is considered "just," because it is fought against a tyrant, against an aggressor, to correct a stolen boundary.

Do you think our country would be doing better by our people, principles of democracy & our proud history of the constitution if we would behave by example within our country and by diplomatic means outside our borders?

First it was:

"Saddam has WMDs and he won't disarm."

"He has nuclear and biological weapons."

"Saddam is a grave threat to world (and national) security, and he must be stopped."

Second was:

"Spreading freedom and democracy to the Middle East."

"Freeing the Iraqis from a bloody tyrant."

"Giving Iraqis their freedom and democracy."

Now it's:

"Al-Qaeda of Iraq is a dangerous threat to Iraqis and a severe threat to US national security."

"They are dangerous and has sworn to kill us all."

"They are the same ones who killed 3000 people on our soil."

Call up all active duty, reserve military personnel from all branches of service that are available and head to Iraq. Use the Iraqi Army and the U.S. military to secure the entire border allowing nothing to come in or go out. Use the Army \ Marines to search building to building confiscating all weapons and capturing/killing all insurgents/resistors with the Iraqi police taking over once cities are cleared. Once all the guns are out of the hands of those who would use them to hamper Democracy, and the Iraqi police are secured in every town, the military leaves and political advisors come to help secure the government. Secritarian violence would be limited as they would have no weapons to use. After a few months, the U.S. would only have to have a limited presence and the Iraqi's could be left to run there own country.

Probably a stupid idea. Oh well.

Assume that the government is not honourable - is in fact capable of anything

That the corperations are really out to get your last dime and don't care how they do it

I asked if they shouldn't be legal but alot if ignorant people had no good points, so thats what this question is for. So if you know nothing about guns and have nothing intelligent to say don't say anything because this question is not for you.

I worked for the C.I.A. for 5 years and have a class 3 permit for the rest of my life. I also legally have a fully automatic silenced AK-47 compliments of you tax payers, and its never been used for anything criminal. So dont make your point be that they're for assassination. So now that I'm a civilian whats the reason for me to not be able to keep it.

Remember idiots since your gonna answer anyway silencers dont make the gun anymore deadly

BushFraud, Michael "Mossad" Chertoff and all the other fear mongers have all but given us a date for the next "terror attack."
BushFraud has already given himself power to declare Martial Law. Will you be willing to give up your firearms in a time of chaos like law abiding citizens did when the military came around knocking on doors?

I'm a conservative. I like listening to Rush, Medved, and to a lesser extent Hannity. But I can't stand Michael Savage. I think it's because he's just too hateful and negative. What's your opinion of the man?

We've heard the Lancet figures of 600,000. Last week Cindy upped them to 700,000. So, what's the real figure? Was the study right?

A new statistical analysis of the 2004 study authored by David Kane, Institute Fellow at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University provides insight. What's your take on it?

It's not right to respond to terrorism by terrorizing other people. And furthermore, it's not going to help. Then you might say, "Yes, it's terrorizing people, but it's worth doing because it will end terrorism." But how much common sense does it take to know that you cannot end terrorism by indiscriminately dropping bombs?
