Ok, so I tracked down where this guy is in jail at and now I can see a description of WHY he is in jail, but I don't fully understand the policeman scrawl.
Help?
It's a felony, and under description it says:
PROB VIOL:REAREST/REVOKE:VOP IS 23152A/B:14601.2(A
Translate? Thanks!

And for all you curious little monkeys: no, I certainly don't have a crush on this guy. I had a bad feeling about him (friend of an acquaintance), and wanted to verify it. :)

He violated probation and was re-arrested.
His original charge was DUI with a BAC of greater than .08%and Driving on a suspended license.
"23152A/B:14601" These are CA vehicle codes.
On a side note: Its not a felony DUI, its the midemenaor DUI. Felony DUI is 23135(a) or (b)

Probation Violation Rearrest/Revocation of Probation. The rest is probably the state statute, under which the revocation was made.

Probation Violation, he was re-arrested for violating probation. The number/letter combination following that is the statute number(s). So if you know the state, you can look up their criminal code to find out what that statute is.

He basically violated his probation. He was re-arrested and his probation was revoked. VOP stands for Violation Of Probation (in this case). Hope this helps.

Violation of Probation. He was on probation for something and he violated the terms of his probation, for example.. maybe he didn't pay his probation officer, or he failed a drug test, or something like that.

So why do you want to hang out with this guy that is totally messed up and immature that cannot commit to doing his time without jail time involvement? He is a lawbreaker.
