No one blames Bush for Katrina. It's the aftermath- they knew the potential....we've all seen the leaked video.
I believe that people are seriously upset about the handling of the twin towers disaster.
I was all for for invading Afghanistan and killing Osama. But now we have changed course and gone to Iraq. That is wrong for many reasons:
1-No Al-Qaeda in Iraq before the war.
2-Saddam was bad, but the alternative is much worse. With Hussein dead- Iraq will be in worst chaos then it has ever been.
3-Bush lied. Now we have greater than 3000 of our soldiers dead. No telling how many Iraqi's have been slaughtered.
4-We have spent close to 700 Billion dollars on this war, and we are borrowing money from China at such a pace that the US dollar will be devalued 20-30% in the next 10 years.
5-He abuses "Executive Privilege"

Why do people blame Bush? the amount of mistakes and scandals under his presidency is staggering
did he start Katrina? no, and no one blames him for the hurricane ... it was how he failed to respond
Did he jump start the ten year plan of the twin towers? I'm not sure exactly what you mean ... but Bush is the first president in the history oh the US to start a war unprovoked, and he ignored the UN and the American people when he did it
... these sorts of things tend to upset people, which is why they cry out for accountability

Ok, here is a total out of my character response...I do not blame Bush for everything, in fact quite the opposite, I think he is a lovable but very gullible man who believes he is doing right because not only God tells him so but so does Dick Cheney, the man siting on God's right hand...no one blames him for Katrina happening but hey, the eminent landfall of the hurricane and the response before and after is what he is blamed for....he is part of a very evil group of men who will stop at nothing to gain their greedy goals.

Well...his hot air mixed with Hillary's cold air could have triggered an atmospheric situation which caused Katrina. The Twin Towers could have been caused by his vivid reading of the 3 Little Pigs and his enthusiastic portrayal of the Big Bad Wolf.

people blame Bush because of his inaction and overreaction. He was inactive for Katrina, and had an overraction in Iraq. People say that he stopped terrorist attacks from coming to the US, but he actually made terrorist organizations swell in numbers. Before only a few radicals would join terrorist groups, but now they go in droves because they want us out. We have to let them decide their own country boundaries. It is technically the fault of the British for so much warfare in Africa and the Middle East for deciding on borders according to what they thought was pretty.

He didn't start either but his response as our so called leader was pathetic, inept, and a failure on almost all accounts. Most presidents try to surround themselves with quality people. Bush surround himself with incompetent yes men. For that he should be blamed.

Not for starting Katrina, but for doing nothing to help those poor people.
Not for the attack on the WTC but for sitting on his hands till (his business partner and friend) Osama bin Laden's men finished the job.
I personally don't like to be lied to. I didn't like it when Bill Clinton did it and I certainly don' t like being lied to by this self proclaimed "decider".
His lies and inability to lead our nation with honor has cost our country enough.... I say, don't impeach him, prosecute him.

I love how we're now saying democrats blame bush for katrina itself, instead of the failure to act after the store. Good show.

he's the decider, the president, the buck stops there.Any government failure, the war in Iraq, the AFTERMATH of Katrina, are a reflection of him because he is in charge.
