No to abortion, morning after pill, government funding of stem cell research, gay marriage, right to die, and in the past no to women rights, interracial marriage, birth control pills, and in-vitro fertilization.

AND YET (THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART)

refuse to use the government to practice what Jesus actually preached?

Sell what you have and give to those in need. Invite the lame, the blind, the crippled to your banquets even if they cannot pay you back. Give to those who beg. It is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle then for a rich man to go to heaven. Give to ceaser what is ceasers. You cannot serve God and wealth, etc, etc.

Why the belief in using the government for social issues Jesus said nothing about, but not use the government for economic issues there is plenty of gospel scripture for?

Instead they equate using government to help people (education, job training, GI Bills, healthcare, etc) to having a gun put to their head.

I'm planning on marrying someone who has decided to enlist in the Navy. The recruiter said we shouldn't marry until after bootcamp. I did some research and there is no leave after bootcamp, but they do get liberty graduation weekend. Would we be allowed to elope then at the local courthouse? Would he get in trouble? Would more paperwork be needed?

My husband is over in iraq and I guess guys think thats an open opportunity. When i tell them no, I guess they think they hear,"Chase me im vulnerable" or some crap like that. what can i say to them so theyll stop and realize theyre being pricks? i am close to 50 now but when i grew up we were dirt poor in the lower coachella valley, we had no welfare we lived in a 2 bedroom trailer with no air(summer temps of 120) my parents had 5 boys, my dad used to get produce out of the trash that the stores would throw away, we wore used shoes, i hitchhiked to my job everyweekend about 15 miles one way(i was 14) i dug ditches i picked fruit, i ate dry pancakes and cereal without milk for months, i went hungry, i have lived in my car, but i also managed to overcome and make my life better without breaking the law, why cant others without breaking the law

How can they go back to their low income countries and try to make it better if not only is it hard to fight off the progressed corruption but the 'hidden' hand of superior countries that want these low income countries to remain low income countries

Is there a law that you have to have a fence around a pool? Does it depend on what state or county you live in. My neighbor has a small above ground pool (about 3 ft high). There is no fence around it and is right along our property line. I worry about the neighborhood kids accidentally falling in.

At the Juvenile Facility I was at a security staff raped five of the girls by threatening to put them in Q.R. (Hole) if they didn't have sex with him. He was fired. But one of the girls he raped went crazy and was sent to the mental Hospital, they didn't know what else to do with her so they sent her to an Adult Facility. She was Traumatized. Don't get me wrong, these were girls over 18, in Oregon Juvenile facilities go up to 25 years of age. But man, rape is just wrong. Isn't it punishment enough. What if she's pregnant with his baby? What should be done?

America dropped "Little Boy" the atomic bomb on 6th August 1945 on Hiroshima and brought Japan to its knees. After seeing massive destruction and loss of human life what perverted thinking made America drop another bomb "Fat Man" that too 3 days after the first one i.e. on 9th August 1945 on Nagasaki. The required effect was achieved by the first bomb. What did the Americans achieve by this second bombing? Except another massive destruction and huge loss of human lives. Or was it a signal to the world.? Mind you America is the only country which has used a Nuclear bomb against its enemy. Could any body enlighten me?
